I'm considering adding a book inside the mod, explaining how to use the different horses (for instance, the fact that the 'F' key makes unicorns lower their horns, and 'C' does a wing buffet attack).
I know there's a ton of stuff going on in the mod, and I'd like people to have an easier time figuring out what all they can do, without having to read all the documentation on the web page.
Also, could you describe what you mean when you say the world is "glitching out"? I've seen some of the horses flicker a little bit once in a while. Is that what you are talking about? How bad is it?

Discovered a bug with lightning wand in version 1.0.2! If you're playing local multiplayer and one person shoots it, it acts as if *both* players shoot it!

Oh Chunks haven't been loading properly, it has been flickering on and off and when i place blocks in that chunk it disappears
When I tried loading in a superflat world only a few chunks load
Whoa, that is crazy behavior. I haven't seen that at all, but I'm only running my mod on my development machine. On some of the machines I test on we're running a few other mods, but not a ton.
I don't do a whole lot with blocks, mostly just the Nightmare Fire block (though there is a little more than that), and I moved out all my world-generation code before releasing version 1.0 (it wasn't ready enough, and I didn't want to delay the release to get something I was happy with). I'll look around in my code just to make sure.
I would absolutely LOVE a 1.7.10 version! I really like the breeding aspect, but Mo Creatures isn't compatible with my modded world and the only other Unicorn/Pegasus mod out there for 1.7.10 is small and not as well developed as this one. Big thumbs up for this one!

I'm starting to wonder if finding the secret breeds is too difficult. I bred a zebra yesterday in less than an hour, but I know what I'm looking for. If no one gets one by the end of tomorrow, I'll drop a big hint.
A zebra is a horse with no special traits. No wings, no horn, etc. Its DNA is composed of all 0s except for the hide genes.
Since 0s are recessive, any gene for horns, wings, etc. will show up on your magical horse. However, if you keep breeding the ones that only have one of a particular gene (Only one H, or only one B, etc.), with others that also have only one (or none, which is better), then you will eventually get a baby with the right genes.
I find it easiest to breed a Destrier with a Pegasus to start off this process, since they each only have one kind of dominant gene they'll pass on. Make some babies, because they will each have only of the dominant genes for each trait (both wings (B) and big size (D)). Then breed the babies to try to get ones with none of the dominant genes.
If you come across some babies with just one dominant gene (only one B, or one D, but not both), that's a keeper for the next round of breeding!
And if you come across some babies with a bunch of dominant genes, that one might be a keeper for trying to breed one of the OTHER secret horse types (but don't use if for a zebra)!
Will this mod work with previously created worlds? I've been having serious trouble finding any unicorns or pegasi...been looking for almost an hour now lol

Tell you what - I'll tune it back up a bit, and make another release in a few hours.

Nope, a zebra has zebra skin, and you''ll see the zebra skin mutated gene in its DNA with the DNA tester. If you get a horse with no abilities that has destrier skin, you got unlucky (there's like a 20% chance you won't get the zebra mutation). However, it would be good breeding stock for trying again, because it has all the right genes to make the mutation happen.
I've considered adding a power to the zebra, but I haven't thought of a good one. Still not sure I want to, but it's an option.

Released new version 1.0.3. It fixes the Wand of Call Lightning bug and makes Zebras easier to breed.
Zebras are a secret breed of magical horse, and you can win a prize for breeding one.
Hint: They don't have wings or a horn....
