Are you thinking of traditional boss battles? Or fighting and then taming.
Both? I like the idea of a boss battle that has a monstrous horse like Sleipnir that you can tame once you have defeated him. I also like the idea of other bosses that are just bad guys you have to defeat (like Doctor Ogrebaz, for instance).
I've created my own modpack and included this mod, but for some reason, there appears to be an issue with showing the correct mob name in HWYLA. Like a Pegasus has the name "entity.pegasus.name" as the screenshot below shows. I can't figure out how to fix it. Could you please let me know what I'm doing wrong? Any help is appreciated, and my apologies if I'm posting this in the wrong spot. I couldn't see any other link for posting issues/bug reports.

I'm aware this may have something to do with all the coremods.... but figured I'd ask you about it. This was literally just when mounting (I believe) an alicorn/nightmare crossbreed. I've also noticed that the damage settings on the horses become unchangeable after a server restart. They work perfectly until a restart, after a restart you can change the values, but upon pressing done to save it won't save them. I tested this on just about every breed available to me at the time(unicorn, destrier, hippocamp, alicorn, blue belle). which was really annoying as one of my unicorns kept charging and trying to kill my other unicorns/alicorns.

OK, I think I have this crash bug fixed - I will putting out a new release soon, and you can get the fix from there.
As for the other problem you were having, can you please describe in more detail what you mean by the "damage settings" ? Is this the setting in the main config file that changes damage values across all magical horses? Or is this related to the power settings dialog that you can use on each individual horse?
Love this mod and want to put it on a private multiplayer adventurer server, but I want it to be hard to find any of these guys - what is the lowest possible spawn rate I could set in the config?
You can currently set a spawn rate of "1" in the config, and that's the lowest you can go at the moment. Unfortunately, I think some types of horse spawn more often I like, because of a weirdness in how the Minecraft spawning system works. I'd like to try to fix that with my own spawn-percentage system, but haven't gotten around to it yet.

I usually stay away from adding extra features that interact with other mods, because it can mean a lot of extra work that is only usable by a subset of users (i.e. only those who also have that other mod, too). However, I'm always willing to listen to suggestions and requests.
What sort of new behavior are you looking for? Ability to breed the horses in the two mods?

Yeah, that'd be neat. The horses are styled similarly and come in many varieties so I figured it'd be sensible. Ability to add horseshoes to the horses of Mo'creatures and the wingtips for their pegasi (possibly allow them to mingle with yours?) and the ability to wear the crystal horse armor from MoC for your horses.

Which version of Minecraft and Forge are you using? I can't reproduce the error with my current config, and I'd like to set mine up just like yours.

will there be 1.12? i'd like to jump into 1.12, i'm having trouble with the horse i purchased
Yes, there will be a 1.12 version of the mod. I have a version compiling now, and am currently testing it to try to iron out bugs before I release it.
