I'm not a minecraft pro so I'm wondering what range and damage values are? I've been looking everywhere for a guide but all I see is the demo video.. problems is I see you typing stuff but don't understand what I'm actually looking at.

Damage/Meta values are basically numbers corresponding to items or blocks in the same ID. For example Wool and Dye. All colors of wool occupy the same ID number/name (Pre 1.7 and 1.7 and beyond, respectively) So, "minecraft:wool:0" would be white wool, and "minecraft:wool:1" would be another color, and so on up till 15(?) I dont know/remember how the command in this handles meta values, so Im using the Minetweaker way with the colons.
Range just means to use every meta value on that item
Meta values on weapons and tools are usually just damage.
On another note, does this store added values somewhere? I assume I have to export just to see additions and what not.
No longer working in the newest (non Github) EE3 release EE3 3.507 I added Livingwood that was in hand and typed /ee3h add-item 500 and then /ee3h regen
and it doesn't show when i do /ee3h list
Will not let me teach it to ee3 Tome, or does this mod only supply ee3 with Exchange energy? if so that is working at least.

Check your forge log, DynEMC is broken in a lot of packs because of other mods' updates.
oh, well I can never decipher (odd for a name like mine hah?) any java logs or mod error logs, it's all greek to me, but thanks for the heads up, My pack is fairly large 110 mods (I added like 30+ mods to the "Universe Of Magic" pack that's on Curse), it's prob conflicting with AoA/Nevermine 2, (that mod is absolutely gigantic in it self!), I'll try loading up a fresh install with just forge to see if it's my other mods.
EDIT: Ok seems you have to double click the item into the tome for it to work, but anyways it's working now yay!
EDIT 2: Or shift click the item into the tome works.
After hours and hours of testing I found that this mod is incompatible with the newer versions of EE3. As soon as both EE3 helper and EE3 512 or higher are both in the mods folder, regardless if there are other mods or not, minecraft will NOT load a single player map anymore. I also posted this issue on the EE3 github, because I don't know which mod needs to be fixed in order to make this work. I hope that either you can find it and fix it, because this mod is really very necessary if you use EE3 with mods that add stuff!
Is a chat notification for when /ee3h regen is done possible?
There isn't. You'll have to check your console log.
i was asking for a feature to be added smarty pants.

I'll give it a look this weekend.
Any news on the incompatibility issue? I can't get this to load on a server; it crashes on world generation.
Still no fix?
Uhhhhhhhhhhhh, updated... If anyone still needs this for anything.
https://minecraft.curseforge.com/projects/ee3-helper
OP updated as well.
Lemme know if anything's broke I guess.
