Perhaps Shadow Ore should only spawn in the End dimension, or at least have a config for it, given how powerful it is.
Hmmm. Good idea, it would make everything way harder to get. The only problem is that if people add it to their world they would have to reset the end, meaning they would have to kill the dragon again. I think I'll make it rarer in the world, maybe with a hard way to craft it as well. Just in world ores for metal isn't too thaumcrafty, most of the metals are crucible recipes. So I might make it work like that. But yes. I could add a config for it.
It's a rare drop from the Crimson praetor. I got it once.
I figured, but I wasn't sure.
Hmm, you know what? Shadowmetal doesn't have any tools/weapons it can be made of, nor does Warpwood...
That might be interesting to see, a way to upgrade the Crimson Blade with Shadowmetal and Warpwood rods to make an even better sword.
Or just Shadowmetal and Warpwood tools/weapons, where Warpwood logs (or perhaps rods, depends on how powerful the tools are) are the sticks and Shadowmetal is, well, the ingots of the tool/weapon.
also, Shadowmetal armor and Fortress Armor. At least add that please.

Yeah, there will a bunch more uses for shadowmetal such as tools, armor, and fortress armor. Just I have a bunch of stuff to work on and that's not on the top of my list. Expect it soon though! Im currently working on some badass boots.

Awesome! I look forward to all of that! Are the boots an upgraded/improved Boots of the Traveler?

Neat, Got any ideas what they offer as an upgrade to the normal boots, i recommend avoiding freezing nearby water and explosive jumping because thaumic exploration already adds them.
Personally, although it wouldn't fit the Voidwalker boots, I'd love to see boots that spread Taint wherever you roam. Zoop-zoop! As for these boots, however, maybe some sort of walking-on-air effect temporarily, or- as a fun thing- immunity to the "hole to the void" blocks in the labyrinth, since they are impressively deadly.

The void blocks in the Outer Lands are like falling into the void below bedrock, and Void Thaumaturges robes and Void boots will fully negate all void damage, at the cost of durability... but it repairs itself fast enough to negate void damage entirely.
Ore should go. When you're working with Thaumaturgy, you've never gotten your metals from them... so why now?
Crimson stuff should actually involve blood, fire and lightning... not just red dye. The Crimson Cultists didn't get their strength from a little Rose Red, now did they?
Your void-repair infusion should be at least a little more interesting, though I have no problem with the effect.
Creation of praetor armor through Thaumaturgy? That... simply is impossible according to the lore, as Praetors are created through high crimson rites.
Throwing nether stars at something does NOT make it balanced. The eldritch focus is too powerful for any cost. Perhaps tone it down?
The caps. OHHHH, the caps. Perhaps infusing something with random material shouldn't make it better... and not as easily as you made a cap like that?
Warp -> Vis? Warp is insanity, not a power source. Also, no wand that easy to make should store that much.
The eldritch is a race, not a single person. They also don't reside in the Outer Lands, they CREATED them to test thaumaturges.
That symbol you use for the Thaumonomicon tab isn't even alchemic: it's a religious symbol. Perhaps use a symbol that actually fits your mod, instead of the sign of a king?
"A mind of its own", eh? Unless a Zombie Brain was infused into it, you don't get intelligence. That's a simple Thaumcraft rule. And despite the lore, that wand is stupidly powerful... And shouldn't be for so simple a cost.

I was too lazy to make a signature, so here you go.
That is not a rule, merely a personal opinion (primal charms can whisper, but they dont need a brain?). I agree it is very powerful, perhaps too powerful. But please, have some imagination.

Primal charms do not whisper. They are an echo of Creation, and so you can hear creation's echoes: the call of the Outer Lands. They only *seem* to whisper, while simply being a conduit to a far greater power.
I might be able to accept Eldritch forms of regeneration if it, say, actually used Primoridam, or somehow required it. But the simple reagents used here? No way.

How do you know Shadowmetal doesn't have similar properties?

I've seen that in the creative menu, and I always wondered how one obtained it. It seems to be an upgraded Void Sword.
Sorry for the double post, but it's important.

Hehe, yes, and then some XD theyre really cool so far.
Working on some boots with a cool particle effect.
Boots of the Voidwalker
Ooh, hey! That's pretty rad-looking.

I've been working on a bunch of stuff. I hope to have a new version out this weekend!
Hm... a few suggestions for this mod.

end rant.

Or just have willing suspension of disbelief.
