DEV version is not working. Does not seem to load.
And might I suggest some form of automation for the mod. Really like the mod, btw.
Did you launch CoBl alone? If not, check generated config, there should be 2 duplicate materials with name emeraldToolMaterial. Delete one of them.
DEV versions are for mod DEVs (for use in deobfuscated environment to test integration via API).
Automation? Yes! How??? I kinda can't think of anything in CoBl that could be automated.
Thanks, will have a look at it. Might have been my own bad. And no, I am using it in combo with other mods.
Something in the form of a smeltery that could mass produce bricks for mega builds? Maybe with color cards, automation upgrades, blank template blocks in all sorts of forms and shapes (kinda like the carpenters blocks), patterns for different looks of those blocks, new building materials? One thing that would be really nice is like a option to store swatches of colors, maybe this in combo with automation. You pick the color and block, add building materials and the machine starts making it.

The possibilities are endless, I think.
No, it's because there are multiple mods that add emerald tool material, so cobl generates materials for both of them and then crashes.
While this mod is about coloring, i got a few ideas from what you said and from one old feature i left because it was impossible in 1.7.10 (i've had enough of coremods that day, so i just left it for better times).
Hint: it is possible in 1.9 and it is coming in 1.4.
Not sure if this a bug, I expect it is me doing something wrong, but here we go... Found 2 things, sometimes grass tends to get painted without any settings on the brush.
And what do you mean by right clicking on the brush? I tried all sorts of right clicking, like in my hand, on a table, shift right click, but I don't get into the color settings menu. I feel a bit "moo moo" from it. Must be doing something wrong here. Using the 1.3.1 version for 1.9.
Mod is working now after the pointers you gave. Now I like to figure out how to use the brush, lol.

1 - Without settings on brush, brush is configured to 0 all colors.
2 - I'ts derping sometimes. Do you have latest forge?
What are we supposed to be using for blue dye? There is "light blue" and "cyan" but neither works. I just get a message saying I "don't have the right dye".

In vanilla, blue die is lapiz lazuli.
But technically, it's any item with ore dictionary name "dyeBlue".
Hello. I'm using the 1.9.4 build of CoBl, as well as excore. I'm using forge modloader, and xaero's minimap. For some reason, the only blocks that seem to stay colored are foliage. Grass, Leaves, and any tall grass are the only thing that actually changes color.

That's a bug that's already been fixed. But i'm waiting for MinecraftForge/MinecraftForge#3070 to be merged in order to release next version.

Looking forward to it. Can't wait for the next update.
I am using a emerald item mod. Thanks for the pointer in the right direction. Will have a look at it.
As usual i'm waiting a bit for bugs, and then begin working on update.
It may be cause of this, it may not. But there are multiple emerald materials registered for sure.

I'll consider that CoBl is mostly bug free and move on.

Do you prefer 1.10.2 now and buggy, or later, but not buggy?

Thank you for the reply. Although a curious thing to note was that Xaero's minimap would show the color on the map.
It is indeed curious, but thinking about it for a moment, it makes sense (in both why should it and how it works ways).
