The link on the main page has been updated. As for new mod content, I've been hard at work and it's coming along. Depending on how quickly the Forge Team releases a "recommended" build for 1.8.9, I may go ahead and port the update to it, though I can release a 1.8 version as well if people would like.
I have a quick question regarding compatibility with Malisis Doors, because you mention it as an objective for the next release. Are the two mods currently not compatible? Like will my game crash if I use both? Or do you just mean there's no support for locks on Malisis Doors? I personally don't care about locks, and would love to use both mods.

The two mods can run side by side with no issues, just that there are not Malisis versions of the Locked Doors in this release.
By all means, please download and enjoy both mods
That was embarassingly simple, I swear I can do math.
Just to update you guys as well, after the next update, there may be a bit of a break before the next one. I am now helping to update Millenaire. Hopefully a stable 1.8 version of Millenaire is as exciting to you guys as it to me
There is a brief mention on the website, but I wanted to give a sincere Shout-out here as well to Ampulugator who created the awesome lock textures and the new Dark Oak Trapdoor texture (so it's less Chocolate-Bar-y lol). He also created an awesome nail texture (though I ended up removing nails to lower the mod's dependency on Iron, I will definitely use it in a future mod ).
We also have a couple translations being worked on, and I will release those shortly once complete.
And last but not least, as you may have noticed from my own signature, we have Banners now. You can find them on the website in the downloads section.
This fixed a substantial crash, as well as several other little problems. I also put some download links back on the OP so the website isn't the only place to go for downloads.

Could you please change the id of the tileEntityCrate to tileEntityRPCrate or something like this to make it more compatible to other mods adding crates?

Version 2.0 is live!
The mod is now broken into add-ins so you only have to download the parts you want. Also, we have a new website, check it out!

It was changed in the 2.0.1 update. Forgot to mention it, sorry!
We have our first new language! 1.8.9 version now has a Dutch translation thanks to the incomparable QuickScop3s.
Downloads on the 1.8 version have dropped off markedly (as to be expected), so I didn't update it yet. However, if there is demand, I will.
why is one of these chimmney stacks smoking and the other not?
SO I fixed the Block ID of the Crates, not the TileEntity ID of the crates. I'm an idiot.

Hard to say just by that picture, where is the fire (or furnace) located in relationship to them?
