Player is allowed to carry only one pet. When multiple pets are detected in player inventory pets act negatively and damage player.
Multiple pets are owerpowerd. Mod needs some hardcore config. Few examples:
-Heart pet eat Notch apple
-anvil is slower
-Brewing needs a huge cooldown
-Creeper explosin cooldown
(never try tp use Minecraft Forun on Smartphone)
Thanks for the suggestions, CasinoR. We just added a Hardcore Pet mode where Pets eat whole items (not just nuggets). We can add a few more config tweaks to make it even harder (like you suggest). But one point of the mod is to be able to combine abilities, so we would never remove that by default (only through config).
Interestingly, we're in several Hardcore modpacks at the moment
what about pets that do special things when placed next to one another?
i.e skeleton pet+another pet=homing arrows (some way of locking on?)
You have some good ideas Jspy1, we think you should start modding
We had just talked about interplay between Pets last week. Interesting twist to add new abilities when placed next to each other... or even in combinations ...
Would this work with Bibliocraft? I'm sure it has it's own iron nuggets. If not, how can I make both of them usable for crafting recipies?
If Bibliocraft has its nuggets in OreDictionary and has made its recipes OreDictionary compatible (like Inventory Pets), then there should be no problem. Only way to know is to test it out. We haven't seen any conflict reports yet for Bibliocraft.
Oh nice! I didnt realize you made a 1.8 version at all yet...Me and the woman just started tinkering on 1.8 a little while back, which is one reason i went totally silent for awhile. I will try out the 1.8 here soon (shes asking me to get on now lol...) Stay awesome PC

Thanks for the suggestions. Strength is already used by the Blaze, but we have some other ideas for the Zombie. Interesting idea for the Skeleton (rapid fire), thiugh there is a bow in OreSpawn that sounds similar. Thanks for the suggestion
Hello Purplicious Cow! I'm hoping you remember me, and I cannot say how sorry I am for insulting this mod by calling it watered down or dumbed down. The Omnikraft modpack (OmniTech: Magical Dabblings!, available on the Technic Launcher!) will be likely adding this mod into the pack or I'll be adding it into my spin-off pack of OmniTech, OmniTech: Adventurer's Conquest, a modpack where I hope to emulate the freedom of openworld, but the nostalgic feeling of the classic SNES RPGs like Chrono Trigger, Final Fantasy, etc with a truly unique experience. This could server as an amazing catalyst to jumpstart my idea to have familiars within the pack, without having to put too much effort into making sure they stay alive. This is a truely amazing mod, and I;m hoping to somehow incorporate CreepTech into the pack somehow, as well.

Thanks TGYT, and really, no worries :). Clearly you hadn't yet fully experienced the joy of Inventory Pets
The OmniTech modpacks sound awesome. Make sure you post a link back here whenever (or whereever) you include Inventory Pets, so we can all enjoy.
And let us know if you run into any issues with CreepTech. It was our first mod, and we've learned a few things since then. We are working on a complete re-working now (CreepTech 2), should be out by end of year.
Just wanted to let y'all know that Inventory Pets is part of a few more modpacks, so you'll be seeing a bit more of us on your favorite YouTube/Twitch channels. Hope you can still take take it. Thanks again for helping to make this mod into what it is today! There's a lot more to come
Also, hope you guys have been watching the epic Inventory Pet race on CrazyCraft 3.0 between jayg3r and lachlan. They now each have acquired all pets except the Cloud. Here's the latest video in the series, where they played together on the same server:

In honor of 250,000 downloads, we present you all with a Sheep Fountain. Well done, people!
Hey DiMuRie -
The monorail is GREAT. Thanks for sharing! I like what you've done with the pets, too.
Are you going to extend the resource pack, so the whole thing has this monorail style (futuristic?).
It's called the mooshroom pet.
When you post a mod: "No pics no clicks" and "MCreator = bad ~99% of the time"
Don't forget to read the crashlog before reporting the crash. It might tell you why it's crashing.
Sorry if my spelling is bad, I'm learning english...

If only there were pets for the Aether II!
How long would you survive?
The Mod is pretty cool since the last time I checked on it, pretty awesome, I am also following the Race (Rooting for Lachlan)
Yo!
Kehaan would never let it be too easy on anyone
Yes, there are two of us. We represent one unstoppable modding powerhouse. Or something.
What abilities will the Salt Pet have?
Good news: Going to release updates to 1.7.10 and full release of 1.8 today.
Bad news: Custom Pets need more time :|
