Ohhh, that sucks. What other mods are installed, and are you using the latest version of Inventory Pets? There is a current known compatibility issue with Advent of Ascension.
Also, the Grave Pet needs have been fed (sometimes it's hard to see the durability bar of the Grave Pet).
Can you test again (on a test game) with the latest version, and see what happens?

---- Minecraft Crash Report ----
Definitely some sort of conflict between mods. Why it would have an issues with Redstone Ore is very strange. I'll do a bit of investigation. Also, next time, put your crash report into a spoiler, so it's easier for others to read the board. Thanks!
EDIT: Ok, after spending about 90 minutes getting the mods in place and testing :/ I found out it had nothing to do with the other mods.
UPDATE #1: Wow, this is a weird one. Ok, it does have to with Redstone. In particular, after you hit it with your Pingot accidentally. Something to do with the block state I think??? Actually, any hit that starts the block animating. I thought it was translation, but it is not. What's even weirder is that the Pingot actually crashes the client every time after that with any ore.
UPDATE #2: Yeah, so this only causes a crash on 1.7.10. In the short term, the way to avoid it is to mine the block in question, and try not use Pingot when Redstone is animating. I've made the permanent fix in the dev version, but an update won't come out for a few more days (in case I get other issues).

Is this mod open source, cause i want to make a superpowers mod, and the abilities from many pets are great for the mod, so i want to know how the abilities work(for Example: invisibility with Armor,...).
P.S.Sorry for bad english, i'm german.

That "nom nom nom" sound scared the heck out of me when I was in the nether. Had no idea it was my purplishious cow. I thought it was some demon laughing since I have grimoire of gaia 3 and abyssalcraft which already make the nether scary. is there an option in the config to make "inventory pets consuming food" not make sound?
Hey Purplicious_Cow the all my stuff is gone and disappeared when i tested the grave pet (that is partly my fault) and i lost EVERYTHING! Is this a bug? This really pisses me off .. no hard feelings
I have some pet suggestions:
Guardian: Thorns, Water Breathing
Food = Prismarine Shard
Crafting: O = Lapis Nugget, F = Prismarine Shard
Eats: Once every Minecraft day
Witch: Gives you random good drinkable potions and random bad splash ones, potions have farther range
Food = Redstone, Glowstone, Gunpowder, Ghast Tears, Bottles, or Blaze Powder
Crafting: O = Coal Nugget, F = Glowstone, G = Coal
Eats: Every potion
I AM A EXTREME NOOB
Sure thing. I am using 1.7.10 - 10.13.4.1614 of forge.
What version of Inventory Pets? Can you try updating to the latest version of 1.7.10 and test again.

Could Custom Pets mod updated to 1.8.9/1.9.4 ? Just asking.
We have another mod in the works that want to get out first. Might go straight to 1.9.4/1.10 at this point. Not enough time in the day
Can you upgrade to 1.10.2?
The 1.10 version works in 1.10.2. I will update curse.
Tried to understand the report, but failed. So I'll post the whole thing.

Alright thanks! I just love the mechanics minecraft added in 1.8 (apart some from 1.9 bruh...) so I'll be waiting for the Custom Pets to be updated!
Definitely some sort of conflict between mods. Why it would have an issues with Redstone Ore is very strange. I'll do a bit of investigation. Also, next time, put your crash report into a spoiler, so it's easier for others to read the board. Thanks!EDIT: Ok, after spending about 90 minutes getting the mods in place and testing :/ I found out it had nothing to do with the other mods.

Thanks again for the report, good stuff!
That is dedication. Thank you for this. Look forward to the update.
On another note, put my error report in a spoiler in that original post. Didn't know I could do that.
Sorry, not open source. May happen in the future. But you should figure it out on your own, that's the best part
Will all pets have 3-D models?
Well, we'd like to do that, but there are many to make still
first I have to say this mod is awesome! second can we suggest new pets? (i have a few ideas but its cool if you dont)
Yes, we take suggestions
I have an idea for a pet called the Flower Pet, it would look like a Rose also it would give you dye's like Rose Red or Cactus Green and so on until all the vanilla dye's are in the game. I don't know if you would want to add modded dye's in as well but that's your choice if this were to be used in the Inventory Pets mod. So its first ability as already described above would be giving you dye's but it's second ability would be to plant sapling's and flower's around you. I think this pet seems very nature based and it is, it would be a pet that could be easily obtained because of that reason of being nature based. You would probably only need flower's or something to craft it so i couldn't be to hard for people, below i have an image of what i think it possibly could look like but i am terrible at making those type of thing's so it isn't the best, it will probably look fuzzy as its 16x16 pixel's but that's around the same size as the pets already implicated into the mod. So a quick summary -
Name - Flower Pet
Ability 1 - Give you a type of dye
Ability 2 - Plant sapling's and flower's around the player
Looks (That is really bad because i am not good at making items like it but is a idea of what it could look like) -
That "nom nom nom" sound scared the heck out of me when I was in the nether. Had no idea it was my purplishious cow. I thought it was some demon laughing since I have grimoire of gaia 3 and abyssalcraft which already make the nether scary. is there an option in the config to make "inventory pets consuming food" not make sound?
