I crashed the first time I got the mod. What did I do wrong? I'm also going to try another version.

Does that error happen only when having Matter Overdrive? It seem like a separate issue you your PC. Maybe update the drivers.
I asked in the reddit post, but I realized you simply may not be looking at that. How do you create the new decorative blocks? There is no recipe in NEI for me.
That explains it. One last thing. So I was using the Matter Registry commands and I noticed that, I can register any item fine, but if I try to recalculate recipes after, it'll erase my recently registered item. Doubly, the console spits out a whole ton of NPEs during matter registry, but I'm not sure why. Any ideas?
All the NPEs are the same thing:
java.lang.NullPointerException

at java.lang.Thread.run(Unknown Source) [?:1.8.0_60]
[05:56:19] [pool-4-thread-2/ERROR] [Matter Overdrive]: There was a problem getting a Matter Entry.
Does the registration proceed fine, despite the errors ? The error just show that some mod items don't have names or in your case some item stacks don't have items :X there is nothing I can do about that except skipping those itemstacks.
Also if you register items that are already registered by Matter Overdrive such as wood or cobblestone, the change will not persist, because you the register item in the config from "new items" category to the "item overrides".
The matter registration proceeds fine, the NPE shows up about five or six times before it finally just gives up on whatever it was. Specifically, I was attempting to register Certus Quartz which doesn't have an entry at all as far as I know (shows up as such). It'll stick until I recalculate, then it'll just return to not having a value.
Sorry if the Star Map is still WIP, but I'm having issues with it. The graphic elements keep overlapping each other and the whole interface barely fits in the screen so I have to manually resize, expand, squeeze and stretch the screen in windowed mode until I can see and click on buttons and lists.
It's because of the GUI size. I developed it using the normal GUI size. The larger sized just doesn't have enough room for all the elements. I can't seem to find a way to override the gui size without changing it for all other GUI screens.
For some reason I can't use abilities like teleportation and force field shield, even when using creative battery. No additional mods installed than Cofhlib and PlayerAPI.
Did you select the teleport ability from the ability wheel ?
It's because of the GUI size. I developed it using the normal GUI size.
Thanks! It worked, now everything fits in the screen. Just some UI elements, specially strings, are slightly hard to read.
Just another question: How do I collect energy from a fusion reactor? I read somewhere I need to use other mod to do that. I tried to use Mekanism cables (v1.7.10-8.1.7.252) as seen in the video below (once this forum doesn't let me put links to videos in the text), but it seems I can't get to connect to MatterOverdrive blocks.
Examples:
Image 1 - Fusion reactor setup.
Image 2 - If I place the cable to connect the Basic Energy Cube to the Matter Decomposer the energy goes away and it's not used.
Can I know which block provides the most matter per item, because I'm kind of tired dumping in stacks after stack of cobblestone, each of them providing 1.0kM,I'm currently using Blocks of Iron since Iron is quite common.Any better items to be used?

Matter Overdrive machines use thermal expansion RF energy. All energy cables that can connect to thermal expansion machine should also connect to Matter Overdrive machines. As for cables, the only way is through other mods. EnderIO conduits are a good option or tesseracts. All cables with a high hardness should work.
Can I know which block provides the most matter per item, because I'm kind of tired dumping in stacks after stack of cobblestone, each of them providing 1.0kM,I'm currently using Blocks of Iron since Iron is quite common.Any better items to be used?
That depends on the mods you use. Emerald blocks will have the highest matter in vanilla. The highest calculated matter I've seen in other mods is compressed cobblestone. A good solution is to use Obsidian blocks, or just create a melon farm.
You use the Decomposer, to break down items into matter plasma.
Soon, hopefuly
I crashed the first time I got the mod. What did I do wrong? I'm also going to try another version.

Does that error happen only when having Matter Overdrive? It seem like a separate issue you your PC. Maybe update the drivers.
How do I update my drivers?
I asked in the reddit post, but I realized you simply may not be looking at that. How do you create the new decorative blocks? There is no recipe in NEI for me.
creative only for now
That explains it.

Moreover, this mod is a blast! I'm looking forward for the next updates.

It's because of the GUI size. I developed it using the normal GUI size. The larger sized just doesn't have enough room for all the elements. I can't seem to find a way to override the gui size without changing it for all other GUI screens.
Did you select the teleport ability from the ability wheel ?

That depends on the mods you use. Emerald blocks will have the highest matter in vanilla. The highest calculated matter I've seen in other mods is compressed cobblestone. A good solution is to use Obsidian blocks, or just create a melon farm.
I have a Suggestion. Can you create the old (The Original Series) Phaser? It looks like This:
I can see a reason why he shouldn't. Copyright on the design, probably.
It's fine if I model it myself. I'm just not a big fan of the original phaser.
