Don't know if it's been discussed or not, but I would like to see a sort of "Cambrian Explosion" update, including a variety of Cambrian era creatures. Is this something being planned? Would love to see all the little guys in the water

Am i allowed to make suggestions here? Because i got some ideas that i believe could help this mod a bit.
-Living fossil mob items(Nautilus,Coelacanth) and fertilized eggs generate a mob next to the dispenser block when activated with them inside.(I dont know if this is a thing yet.) I believe this has been suggested before.
-Lure Repel/Attract Modules(Basically makes certain dinosaurs avoid certain zones or get attracted to them),they work with redstone and the main purpose of this is to make "Safe zones"
-The equivalent of Essence of Chicken for mammals(Maybe something like Milk of Growth) can be done With a milk bucket,mushrooms and a bottle.
-A Compsognathus Cage(This is a item that allow the player to transport smaller prehistoric mobs than 1 block)
-Dinosaur Decorative eggs,you get the normal egg craft it with something else and you can place it as a Beautiful decoration for your lab.
Doesn't matter what the press says. Doesn't matter what the politicians or the mobs say. Doesn't matter if the whole country decides that something wrong is something right. This nation was founded on one principle above all else: the requirement that we stand up for what we believe, no matter the odds or the consequences. When the mob and the press and the whole world tell you to move, your job is to plant yourself like a tree beside the river of truth, and tell the whole world — "No, you move

-A Compsognathus Cage(This is a item that allow the player to transport smaller prehistoric mobs than 1 block) Maybe a multiblock cage for raptor-size dinos that could be transported on a vehicle of sorts?
-Dinosaur Decorative eggs,you get the normal egg craft it with something else and you can place it as a Beautiful decoration for your lab. Now decoration is something you can never get enough of.

I just took the Minecraft Noob test! Check out what I scored. Think you can beat me?!
I think the Ankylosaurus should have its texture and model edited to have its armor and body shape actually resemble what an actual Ankylosaurus' armor looks like.
Also, all the theropods shouldn't have exposed teeth when their mouth is closed, except debatably Spinosaurus.
And will the dinosaurs younger stages eventually be more different than their adult stages, primarily proportionally? Like with Tyrannosaurus having a narrow snout and Pachycephalosaurus going through all sorts of changes with its skull.
But overall, I'm very impressed with the progress made. All the textures look pretty realistic, not too bright or anything, and realism is for the most part pretty great. I do question the size of some of the larger animals however, and I think the Spinosaurus may need a slightly different head (I'm not sure on the last two here). Keep it up

Does T.rex come to mind with the wonky size issue?

Tyrannosaurus had some exposed teeth in the front sides of the upper jaw.

I really do hope this mod comes out on 1.10 first. I've been working on a modpack for a while now, and this would be a great addition.

Firstly, there's no need to add 2 more raptors. Secondly, in what way would that help or improve game play at all?

I mean, the lipped hypothesis is definitely more likely, but as far as I know this paper hasn't been debunked yet either.
No they don't.
And shouldn't the feathered non-avian dinosaurs also drop some feathers?

I think the reason they don't drop feathers is because of the config option. Though it could be made to depend on the config option.
pseudocode:
if(configoption.isTrue)
addDrop.feather;
