I had a debate with someone and I said that. The person then said that there are no common names for extinct animals.
No it isn't. Especially if you're using it along with other animals, it would be completely unformatted. For example, composgnathus, velociraptor, and tyrannosaurus would be as following: c-longpipes, v-mongoliensis, and t-rex. It is not it's "common name" as the animal has no such "common name" and the closest to that would probably just be it's genus, as such creatures are called by correctly. If you must refer to it's species, then you tyrannosaurus rex or t. rex, not "t-rex".

1: Dakotaraptor (for being an amazing theropod and the realistic version of the JP raptor)
2: Apatosaurus (for being a cool sauropod that's probably not a pain in the butt to draw; the BrontoSmash theory makes it really dang amazing)
3: Mosasaurus (for having a neat evolution, as well as unique jaws)
4: Spinosaurus (for being an interesting and underrated theropod)
5: Deinonychus (for killing all the beliefs that dinosaurs were absolutely brainless reptiles with the speed of a snail)
6: Tyrannosaurus (for being an absolutely dynamic theropod)
7: A tie between Meganeura and Arthropleura (for being giant freaking arthropods)
8: Phorusrhacos (for being the closest thing to ancient theropods, as well as being freaky fast)
9: Pliosaurus (just admit it; it's vastly superior to that stupid meatbag, Liopleurodon)
10: Anomalocaris (for being the world's first apex predator)
Anyone think they can give me a .jar file where the baby trex textures are not broken? I can't change mine cause when ever i unpack the file, then repack it, it breaks the file and and thus the mod pack i am using.

the dino pedia should be a real book but will only show discovered stuff than right clicking a dinosaur
