Would it be possible to have integration with https://minecraft.curseforge.com/projects/game-stages? Eg. JourneyMap has a similar compatability where the map isn't actually unlocked when a player starts the game, they have to go through certain achievements first before the minimap unlocks for them. In addition other feature sets would be gating entities showing up on your map (so it's only terrain at the start) until the player unlocks an achievement (eg kill the End Dragon and they gain the ability to sense entities on the mini map).

This feature might be good enough:
Option to limit your Minimap usage by binding it to an item that you'll need to have in your hotbar in order for the minimap show up. For example, add minimapItemId:minecraft:compass anywhere in the config file to bind it to compass.

* When placed in the lower half of the screen, the minimap will now be anchored to the bottom of the screen when the screen is resized, similar to how it already works on the horizontal axis.
Got another request, so the FTB team is interested in using your minimap for their next skyblock modpack, however due to quirks with the FTB Launcher (Actually this might apply to the Twitch Launcher as well), everytime the pack is updated, it will delete the entire config and reload it with the new configs, meaning that the waypoints will get deleted each time there is an update to the pack (eg, to fix a bug or recipe that wasn't caught during testing).
Is there a way you can provide an alternate system so that the waypoints saved have continuity in between modpack updates?

Well without mods makes no sense since the frames drop after updating your mod, and modless I get so high frames that it doesn't matter. When I have time I will test it without mods for the sake of consistency. But I can say downgrading gives me better performance.

so, about that issue i was having.
i opted to disable everything except the minimap and enable 2 or 3 at a time. and now it works, same mods and everything.
it just works now.
do you think my issue could have just been a minecraft/forge quirk?
