Umm, the crash report contains a lot more mods than in your modpack, but I'll test anyway.

EDIT: I cannot recreate the crash. Judging by the crash report it should happen when selecting a world in the world dropdown menu which isn't the current world, on the waypoints screen. Also, my computer can't handle your mod pack. It's absolutely unplayable

All waypoint information is stored in configs only I'm assuming, there isn't another resource folder or something within the pack? I probably don't want to end up distributing my waypoints along with the pack.
Also for clarification - your WorldMap and Minimap are both clientside only right? They don't need to be on a server/no benefits come from having them run on a server? I'm trying to finalize a Server Pack and wanted confirmation. Thanks!

Yeah, both mods are 100% client side. Now that you mentioned copying files, ask him if he has folders in config/XaeroWaypoints that are empty or contain empty folders (except "backup"). That may cause something like this, not totally sure though.

I have a request, I hope you don't mind me asking! Do you think it would be possible at some point to add a feature that displays the current biome underneath the minimap, and when you hover over a biome in the world map? Literally the only thing I miss from the minimap mod I'd been using to replace this one when I thought it wasn't compatible - yours is my favourite and has been my go-to for probably years - I love how far out the world map zooms, I love the design and options for the minimap, and I love that you can see dropped items. It would make me so happy if this awesome mod also had a feature to display biomes - especially if it included Biomes o' Plenty biomes as well like the one I was using. Please and thank you!

This mod just gets better and better - if I could like your response a hundred times I would Has the displayed current biome always been a feature or is it something that's been more recently implemented? Feeling less observant/more forgetful by the minute haha! Totally understand if implementing the biome feature in the world map isn't a priority - I have no concept of coding, hence my giving suggestions to mod authors instead of doing the work myself - but from what I do understand I know it takes a lot of work.

Check the dropdown menu's in the waypoints GUI (U). Probably the sub-world/dimension one.

EDIT: I tried doing it multiple times now but every time get kicked from Curse. Not sure what's wrong on their side. I'll try tomorrow.
The issue came up when I loaded my game and noticed my waypoints were missing.
pressed U (open the waypoint menu) and checked, the waypoints were missing, found them in an "overworld" sub world. Switched to this and was able to see my waypoints
brought up my inventory and noticed that I had loaded the game with someone else's profile (my partner and I have separate Minecraft accounts but do not currently have separate PCs to use)
pressed U again and noticed in the options there was "merge sub to auto" option (I think this was how it was phrased). I clicked to do this and got a warning indicating it would overwrite or merge(not sure now) my current "auto" world. The current one was empty so I figured what the hey. Clicked yes to confirm and the game crashed shortly after.
Side note: Bug report!
Troubleshooting I've tried:
Removed Minimap and Worldmap mods from the Mods folder and put them in a temporary folder (outside the mods folder)
Game starts to the Minecraft Main menu (did not do this before)
Closed game.
Readded Mimimap and Worldmap mods
Again, when launching the forge profile from the Minecraft launcher, get the same , crash on boot and same error message.
Removed OptiFine_1.11.2_HD_U_C3 and ArchimedesShips-1.7.1
Launched again, again crash on boot and error message.
Troubleshooting I've not tried:
1.Switching to my profile and launch again (figured this wouldn't help as I've seen the issue were the minimaps lose their waypoints happen before and once they are "removed" from auto they don't go back on their own) and also I wasn't sure if this might "fix" the issue but make us lose our waypoints (kind of a "clear cache" is what I'm trying to avoid
2.Putting a "fresh" copy of the minmap mod and/or worldmap mod into my mods folder (clear cache concern)
3. deleting /reinstalling forge and all mods (clear cache concern)
4. reinstalling installing forge, all mods and minecraft (same)

I've searched the forum (not read every line but used the thread search) but I don't see this already having been addressed.
Issue: Minecraft crashed when I clicked the Merge Sub to auto command, and now crashes immediately on start up
Minecraft version: 1.11.2
