Google translate does a horrible job. I won't add mob heads because I think they look crowded (at least in the near future). Also, I'm still waiting for Mojang to improve the mob model code, it's just awful at the moment. No other game uses faces on the minimaps and there's a good reason for that.
Yeah i know, there are some "alternatives" but for some reason i like your minimap, the ´feel´ of a "vanilla" minimap, the abilitie to rotate on square mode, the rendering engine is very optimized!

I'm not going to add mob heads any time soon for 4 reason: a. it destroys the mystery of who is the next corner, b. hides a lot of the terrain on the minimap from you, c. requires a lot of weird abra kadabra magic to get it working for ALL modded mobs (I have already coded it roughly), d. it ruins the vanilla feel because game developers usually use dots on the minimaps and that's how it would also be on Minecraft.
Why I added player heads is because they required no abra kadabra and seeing the face of someone doesn't destroy the mystery. Seeing a creeper face tells you a lot more about the entity then say a Steve head.

I'm running the latest and greatest version of the minimap (1.10.3) along with Optifine 1.10.2_HD_U_C2 on MC 1.10.2. The Minimap is invisible and only the dots show when not in Safe Mode. I've turned off Fast Rendering and Fast Math etc, but the minimap is still invisible. Are there any other options I should fiddle with?
Probably your GPU. I've received similar reports before but nobody stayed around to get this fixed.
Can you try updating your graphics drivers and java and let me know if it worked? If it doesn't work then we could work together to resolve the issue.

You will now instantly see all loaded chunks when pressing the "enlarge" (Z) key
This improves the mod overall perfomance a lot and also fixes lag spikes on lower-end computers.
* Improved loading time when using multiple of my mods by recoding Patreon handling system for more optimized multiple mod support.

I'd love to see a few more options how to display the player itself on the minimap^^ If I haven't missed sth, currently the player is just shown as any other player too (except that he is centered ofc) using the same color and the same kind of dot. I'd suggest maybe adding a custom color setting for the player and/or the option to show the arrow from "Lock North" even if "Lock North" is disabled.
