yeah but in that time a player could notice you and simply block up the room or mobs fling themselves at you as soon as you decloak, you can easily stay hidden with an invisibility potion through that whole thing without risks
I just saw it on there too. While Reika was (surprisingly) quick to take the blame, I included a possible fix in the latest build (v1.1.1).
The problem is neither my fault nor fixable. It is a classloading error also seen in several other mod APIs - such as BC, Waila, and Minechem - that causes mods not to be able to access their own APIs unless I ship them.

So, I've been playing with this for an hour or two, and I have to say the recipes seem a little bit too cheap.
Enchanted Fabric normally takes a whole wool block + 4 string (that's 8 sting total) for 1 fabric. Your Bewitched Fabric? 6 string and less than half an ingot of nuggets for three. I understand that the spinning wheel is supposed to be more efficient, etc., etc., but it just doesn't make sense from a game design pov. Bewitched Fabric seems to be strictly better than Enchanted Fabric, but it's also strictly cheaper. I will say that the bag of tricks as a good number of slots, though. It just needs a bit of a higher price tag.
Also consider the Spectral Mantle. It costs a couple seconds in the Nether (to get netherwart), one stack (less than a stack?) of string, a pittance of nuggets, a carrot, and an ender pearl. And then less than half a jar's worth of essentia. This is for an item that lets you go invisible on demand. And doesn't even really take up an inventory slot. And doesn't need to be held to use it. And has unlimited uses. And makes you look cool. The material cost might be okay if the infusion cost was higher to compensate, but even then it feels way too easy to acquire.
EDIT: Nevermind the bit about it not working. I'm an idiot.

And yes, the spectral mantle makes you invisible to most monsters, but you can't attack them or interact in any way with the world while using it. That's the intended main downside.

I am /still/ unable to reproduce that bug, so I have no idea how to fix it.

Oh, no. I understand that the cloak has a balance to it. And I think that's a good thing. It's a good way of balancing it. But even still, I'm of the opinion that it's far too cheap.

edit: I think maybe I also got it while I was just withered by a wither skeleton -- something about health maybe? too many potion effects? I might've also been invisible at the same time, but I'm not committing to that.

Do the clusters have to be created through magic or can you use the pickaxe of the core / any of the upgraded mod versions to get these new clusters?
I've never been sure how that works. I know with AOBD you can supposedly, but some ores don't seem to drop anything with that pickaxe last time I checked.
Also, do Mekanism ores get clusters too?

Yep, known bug, I was being a bit derpy with potion effects. The fix has been implemented I just haven't put that version out yet.

The current version should allow for clusters to drop from the pick. My list of clusters is currently hardcoded, so the ones currently included are:
Nickel, Dark Iron, all Metallurgy Ores and all Tinker's Construct ores.
I might add a config in the future.
I ran across something in my test world. I am just checking this out for the first time in creative, so I may not have everything quite right...
I was playing with the terraformer, and trying to convert a plains biome to jungle. I placed everything and started piping in arbor, which the terraformer gladly accepted. I energized a node with terra in it to supply the vis needed, and nothing happened. Everything acted like it was working, and I could see the particles of terra vis flowing over to the machine, but it didn't do anything. This particular node only energized to 3 terra vis. I replaced the node with one slightly larger at 4 terra vis, and everything started working.
It appears supplying less than the 4 centi-vis/tick it wants just wastes the vis. The essentia isn't consumed though if there isn't enough vis.
The other thing I noticed is that the arbor kept getting sucked into the machine and absorbing absolutely everything available. Should there be some sort of limit to the amount of essentia that can be sucked up into the machine? Also to play nice with essentia piping systems, will the suction go to zero when the internal buffer fills, or do we need to use valves to turn the thing off? At the rate the essentia is consumed, a properly configured system will use the essentia rather quickly, so it may not be much of an issue, but I'd though I'd point out my findings.
Hope you don't mind a little tip for the textures, but on the armors/cloaks can you make them not mono-color? Would help them look significantly better when worn. A little noise goes a long way in making something look much more natural.

But what's stopping you from popping out of invisibility, doing what you want to do, then popping back in? It makes it a bit more cumbersome, but it doesn't really break the tactic.
EDIT: I figured out what my problem with the cloak was. It seems that on multiplayer servers, when another player is within render distance, the Traveller's Gear active abilities menu flat-out refuses to come up.
yeah but in that time a player could notice you and simply block up the room or mobs fling themselves at you as soon as you decloak, you can easily stay hidden with an invisibility potion through that whole thing without risks

Curse PremiumThe problem is neither my fault nor fixable. It is a classloading error also seen in several other mod APIs - such as BC, Waila, and Minechem - that causes mods not to be able to access their own APIs unless I ship them.

Yeah, I should maybe increase the cost on the fabric...
And yes, the spectral mantle makes you invisible to most monsters, but you can't attack them or interact in any way with the world while using it. That's the intended main downside.
I am /still/ unable to reproduce that bug, so I have no idea how to fix it.

Curse PremiumYep, known bug, I was being a bit derpy with potion effects. The fix has been implemented I just haven't put that version out yet.
You're on a really old version. Update, that bug was fixed weeks ago.
Yes, there's a config option for it.
Noted, although this should already be fixed in the current version.
The current version should allow for clusters to drop from the pick. My list of clusters is currently hardcoded, so the ones currently included are:
Nickel, Dark Iron, all Metallurgy Ores and all Tinker's Construct ores.
I might add a config in the future.

Curse PremiumI was playing with the terraformer, and trying to convert a plains biome to jungle. I placed everything and started piping in arbor, which the terraformer gladly accepted. I energized a node with terra in it to supply the vis needed, and nothing happened. Everything acted like it was working, and I could see the particles of terra vis flowing over to the machine, but it didn't do anything. This particular node only energized to 3 terra vis. I replaced the node with one slightly larger at 4 terra vis, and everything started working.
It appears supplying less than the 4 centi-vis/tick it wants just wastes the vis. The essentia isn't consumed though if there isn't enough vis.
The other thing I noticed is that the arbor kept getting sucked into the machine and absorbing absolutely everything available. Should there be some sort of limit to the amount of essentia that can be sucked up into the machine? Also to play nice with essentia piping systems, will the suction go to zero when the internal buffer fills, or do we need to use valves to turn the thing off? At the rate the essentia is consumed, a properly configured system will use the essentia rather quickly, so it may not be much of an issue, but I'd though I'd point out my findings.
Can the infernal blast furnace be upgraded with arcane bellows? The entry in the thaumonomicon is a little vague.
^ Yes it can, it makes it go much faster akin to the regular blast furnace. Not sure about the extra nuggets, but I would assume you get more of them.

Anything. It is a perma looting+Fortune, which just happens to stack with the Looting/fortune on your weapon/tool.
Maybe more stuff you can do with the glove of primal badness? It looks so cool but doesn't feel that powerful :/
