Try reading the Thaumonomicon entry on it maybe? It tells you exactly what keybinding to use to open the inventory, that it will accept infused gems and that you can grab a node with it. Do that and the rest should be fairly easy to figure out for yourself ;D
I think it would be cool if there was a way to use your crystals to upgrade any tool. These upgrades would give tools/ weapons extra effects at the cost of vis from the inventory. Some of these effects might be: creating a mage light "for a pick", the use of a wand cap "without switching to tools", mining and the item is sent threw a magic mire instead of dropping. It would allow for greater customization of weapons and tools and add a new dynamic to how the game is played. It would complement vanilla play and other mods seamlessly.

Maybe You can add focuses or baubles with the primordial pearl? Like a focus that can freeze anything and everything in a short radius for a few seconds. Or a voidmetal ring with a primordial pearl on it. It would be like the normal runic armor but double the power

If there was a primordial pearl on a voidmetal ring for runic shielding, I would imagine it would be at least +10 and act like two rings that recharge at a higher rate (the specific name escapes me at the moment), but as only one, so if you equipped two, it would be +20 and recharge at 4x speed? Or something to that effect.
and what's stopping us from making a belt and amulet like that? You'd never really need to worry about runic shielding again, but it would cost 4 pearls to be consumed in an expensive infusion recipe, so it would balance out fairly well, I think.

A few additional means of holding large amounts of vis would be nice. maybe a recipe for rings and belts that have the ability to hold vis with accompanying void metal upgrades.
Current Forge changes how liquids are handled, and WG is trying to add a liquid to TiCo using the older method it appears, which, if the TiCo version you were using was built for newer Forge, wouldn't get communicated right (resulting in the "null fluid").
I can't seem to go down ladders while using the raven cloak, you should a button that will allow you to descent (ex : pressing ctrl will cause you to go down and not move forward)

You can toggle the glide on and off by holding down the key you've bound to Traveler's Gear Active Abilities. I forgot what the default is. When you do, a radial menu will appear with any Gear that has an active ability, click on them as necessary~
While using botania it has frustrated me to no end not being able to see the reach of spreaders, the spreader a flower is attached to, and being able to determent which spreader the flower is connected. A Goggle of Revealing that is modified to see these things would be very nice.

Open the gui, put them in the slots?
I don't know how to put the gems in the slots. But I know how to open the GUI.

Disable transmutations in the WG config. This is a faulty interaction between the nugget transmutation and Minefactory Reloaded.
