Okay, so i try raise it to 6000 block, but all i get is an error occurred while assembling moving world. see console log but idk where to see the console log.
If you don't have a console log there's nothing I can do.
Good mod like the new helm thing but 1.8. Forge is so unstable and very laggy for me. Would you update this to minecraft 1.9 if it came out because it also seems that forge also is waiting on that as there are no update for 1.8.7.
Also still not seeing the submersible ships icon even though I checked the config and found everything to be

Submersibles need to be water tight. This seems to be a bit of a common issue so I'll make a video explaining it pretty soon.
I currently have the issue that the stuff in the chest I place on my ship somehow gets into my inventory when I mount it. After that, in the chest itself are stacks of the items I placed with the size of 0. That might be a thing you want to look at.
EDIT: What the hell? I just fixed this and now it's happening again in a different way...
Read the changelog, then read the wiki. It's on the main post to read the wiki for mod information.
Although your condescension was useful for figuring out what those objects are used for, it was not useful in figuring out why the submersible icon doesn't show up in my UI. I still only have the most updated versions of both moving world and Archimedes ships plus downloaded, and I have created new worlds just to make sure it isn't a save game compatibility issue. Still, it is missing. I am sure I am not doing something right, but perhaps it is a bug. either way, I feel like there is a huge lacking in explanation and anytime I ask for help I get short and condescending responses.

I don't think my responses are at all condescending, every time you ask for something I've given you the resources to do what you want. These are still however alpha builds, nothing is final, which is one of the reasons there's not a lot of documentation yet.
Here's the simplest explanation I can make until there's proper documentation.
B=Block A=Air
BBBBB
BAAABBBBB
BAAABAAAA
BAAABAAAA
BBBBBBBBB
The Flood fill will start just above the top center of the structure, then it will go around the structure trying to fill as much as it can without passing blocks, this will result in the following.
B=Block A=Air V=Filled
BBBBBVVVV
BAAABBBBB
BAAABVVVV
BAAABVVVV
BBBBBBBBB
Now, if less than 30% of the structure was filled you can submerse, any more it's not submersible. You can change this in the archimedes ships plus config if needed. This basic algorithm is applied to a 3D space instead of a 2d space but it achieves the same goal.
I've been testing 3.2 (or 3 or whatever is latest) and it ran pretty smoothly for me until i tried dissassembling a ship and ran into this: (in the spoiler)
When I loaded the world again, I was still in the ship, but there was a duplicated front half of the ship where I tried to dissassemble. It actually looked similar to the error I reported a while back where it deleted part of the ship.

Could you add a fuel engine that took liquids from liquiducts (or from buckets on right click or inserting it into the inventory) that could use oil, lava, and other modded fuels.
Awesome job with keeping up this mod! I love the idea for it and how it helps the exploration feel of minecraft.
(Using 1.8)
However, I seem to be having a texture issue with the helm wheel, and the storage crate. The wheel is just a jumble of textures and the crate is invisible. I'm using the Chroma Hills Texture pack, does using texture packs cause these problems?
Another thing is that the movement becomes quite choppy when I use a ship around the size of 6x6 or whenever I'm speeding in open water. Is there anything I could do to calm it down a little bit?
I notice a shaders mod, does it occur when that mod is disabled?
Awesome mod! I have no idea how to make a submersible though... If I could be directed to a tutorial video or given an explanation that would be quite nice.
If you don't have a console log there's nothing I can do.
Oh darn, i just gonna keep tweaking around with it, thanks for taking the time to talk.

Alpha 3.2 releasing now, please update as it fixes a bug with submersible ships being able to fly (with not enough balloons)
EDIT: What the hell? I just fixed this and now it's happening again in a different way...
EDIT 2: Got a fix, uploading.
Please download the new MovingWorld build listed in the post.

why whenever i try to load up minecraft its just a white screen? this has been happening ever since i put it in my mods

I'm going to need an FML server log as well.
EDIT: if you could join the irc channel listed in the main post via the web chat that would make this a lot easier.
Could you add a fuel engine that took liquids from liquiducts (or from buckets on right click or inserting it into the inventory) that could use oil, lava, and other modded fuels.
Could you add the ability to disguise the shore buffers as other blocks?
That's way more code that is frankly not needed. If you don't like the look of shore buffers just use a texture pack.
This mod is a keeper Keep up the good work
