Your ship is too dense and is going underwater. Adjust the density configs, you also have a hole somewhere in your basement, make sure there's no holes anywhere, even on the roof of the basement.

Finaly i moved to 1.12.1 yesterday, because i love this mod. Thanks for your work.
There is a serious problem that affects other mods. Its hard to explain. After placing some blocks, and mounting the ship, the helm disappears with a bunch of blocks. The ship does not mount.
some other mods (mecanics, simpleteleporter, Biomes o Plenty, Thermal Expansion, ...)

Suggestion: Some kind of elevator-beam/laser, because it would be nice to go up and down to the airship without crappy ladder/rope mods. Just one Block, under which one sinks slowly to the ground without taking damage. An the counterpart, that pulls you up into the air. that would be nice.

i had no flicker in the 1.7.10 version at all. But in 1.10 and now 1.12 there is a little flicker, i think it depends on the ship size. Small ships do not flicker very often but big vessels flicker much more. sometimes there is "no ship" for about 2 - 5 seconds ^^
But it is just a graphic issue, not affecting the gameplay, so... not a big deal, if your are not a youtuber

Hello! I really like this mod from what I've seen. Unfortunately, it seems that my game crashes every time I attempt to mount a ship I've created, regardless of size of ship (Also it will not allow me to fly, the helm I've placed seems to duplicate into my inventory).
Furthermore, I originally thought the issue to be that I was lacking the tertiary mod; Moving World. Oddly enough, however, it seems that my forge-loader recognizes that I have a duplicate of Moving World in my mod folder! (This only happens when Davincis_Vessels_1.12 is in the mod folder; it cannot coexist with a Moving_World_1.12 mod in the folder as well.)
Edit : I downloaded both from curseforge, and now I have textures for balloons( as well as the duplicate bug being fixed) However, it still crashes when i attempt to use a helm.

I've been having this bug where when I dismount from the ship the game duplicates exactly half of my ship and places it permanently with blocks underneath it. It's really annoying as it is leaving half ships all over my map lol anyone know why this is happening/know of a fix?
Does anyone happen to know the crafting recipe for the secured bed? The wiki does not mention the secured bed at all and I can only acquire it via creative mode.

It might be important to note that I have gone into the config to increase the max. blocks for ship building.

is it possible to use chisels and bits as ships in next update?
Is it possible to transport mobs and npcs with ships? If not, can that be a feature?

I've been having this bug where when I dismount from the ship the game duplicates exactly half of my ship and places it permanently with blocks underneath it. It's really annoying as it is leaving half ships all over my map lol anyone know why this is happening/know of a fix?
Does anyone happen to know the crafting recipe for the secured bed? The wiki does not mention the secured bed at all and I can only acquire it via creative mode.
Feature Request and Suggestion:
Ships with Iron or Steel Blocks on their front break ice blocks similar to vanilla boats breaking lilypads.
However, a block of ice broken in this fashion should act like a melted block of ice, in that it places a source block where it was.
This would be incredible when used in frozen ocean biomes, as it would turn the ship into an icebreaker, and allow it to plow through the ice sheets.
