Is this after 1 infusion? or multiple? Last time I messed with infusion I was able to get in about 3-4 before the creature died and I think that is because they may lose hp after an infusion. (I could be wrong on that, not entirely sure.) If I'm right it's best to do 1-2 infusions and than try healing them with sano/victus. Also I believe that with each infusion, like in vanilla Thaumcraft", when an altar isn't stable it can lead to bad side effects. one of which may be the death of the animal.
You 'now, your mod do not let worlds load with Mo Creatures because you have a entity called Nightmare, and MoC has one horse with the same name. Removing Either TH or MoC makes things get back to normal.
Can you keep the display name of this Nighmare and change just the real entity name?

TH 1.2 is coming along nicely! In addition to stomping bugs (keep them coming, folks - I may not have time to reply to each report, but rest assured I'm listening) and rebalancing a few mechanics, 1.2 will allow aspiring thaumaturges to access freeform golemancy much earlier - no primordial pearls required. This alternate method will demand a few costly materials, though, so the animation focus will be more efficient once you gain access to it.
The real meat of 1.2, however, lies elsewhere - beyond the known cosmos, truth be told. In the words of Crimson Praetor Nessuimadreth:
Open the eye, pluck out its shining heart. Those-Who-Came-Before shaped worlds with it. Now we shall ascend to their ranks, for any node can become an eye if opened wide enough, and any eye can serve as an engine of creation...
I am -all about- things that lurk beyond the known cosmos. What's the use of a horizon if you can't hurtle past it at breakneck speeds, besides? :V I eagerly await 1.2.
EDIT: Also, I have a suggestion for a further usage of the Seroconverter: a faux-beacon machine that vaporizes the essentia-mixed blood to spread a buff/debuff over an area. Maybe some Aer or Tempestas in there, who knows. Configurable width?
The self infusions seem to vanish occasionally. I'm not sure exactly what is triggering it-I think it might be dimensional travel perhaps, and possibly returning from the end as well. It is rather inconvenient. In addition, a way to toggle the spiderclimb would be GREATLY appreciated.

Sounds awesome. One thing I really, really wish for though is better handling of suction from the vat. If it worked wirelessly just like an infusion altar most of the problems with essentia getting stuck in the vat would be fixed. It's fine for victus or sano when healing something, but when you've got 4-5 different types it get's gummed up. If wireless isn't an option, I vote for rounding up to the nearest phial for every infusion. I'll spend 8 cognitio instead of 4 if it means I don't have clogging problems.
Also, sometimes when I place a block with Vacuous, a chest appears next to the block, and when I break it, it causes stack overflow errors, even if I reload the world.

Pretty sure it still needs stability modifiers like a normal alter Zeklo. Try that.
If you mean candles, skulls, and crystal shards I've got that covered.
I believe you need to advance down the soul sieve line. I assume you have infusion unlocked in artifice, though.
you are probably forgetting infusion enchanting.
Gripe: jarred mobs always face the same way when placed. Entities in vats always face the same direction. Is it possible for this to be fixed?
Also an issue, actual essentia costs for creature infusions don't seem to match the costs laid out in the thaumonomicon.

having an etheral shard near a wand recharge pedistal cause the game to crash when the pedistal is used. had to use MCedit to delete the shard.

Anyone else having the glitters just hanging there when portalizing creatures with diamondflesh? A reload didn't fix it.

Challenge for anyone who wants it! Make the curative vat in Blender. Or any other 3d modeling program.
In the meantime, I'll just rotate the board.
