Yah, after seeing that video, I am definitely gonna try out that Tabula program, figure out what that ".addChild()" function is I keep seeing on other pages, and see what I am missing.
I know I can't do animations in the slightest like that with my current algorithms.
I am guessing you have a formal education in game development Mowzie?
The addChild function is basically for rigging your model. Attaching pieces to one another, etc.
Aw, you don't give yourself enough credit! Your work is amazing!
Suggestion for mobs(Some of these have already been used in mods, but your mod right now looks incredible and I'm sure you can make much better mobs):
Chimera: I know you said no mobs from real mythologies, but with your modeling, you could make it look amazing)
Hippalectryon: (This one is amazingly funny, and would be awesome to be in a mod but you may not want to after you see the image)
Hippocamps: (This is something that is actually not in any myths, just two words of two names from two animals put together, basically it means flying, fire-breathing seahorse)
Lamia: (This is just a woman snake hybrid, still cool though)
Manticore: (Enough said)
Typhon: (Not sure how you would implement this since it's massive but would be frickin' insane to see in Minecraft if done right, here is a description, since the image is not very revealing):
Typhon is one of the most powerful Greek mythology creature. Together with Echidna, it gave birth to many of the monsters that were featured above including Chimera, Cerberus, Sphinx etc.
Typhon is said to be really huge. Its upper body is human like and is said to be taller than a mountain. His bottom half comprised of large vipers that can reach far out in any directions.
In the battle between Gaia and Zeus, Typhon was sent by Gaia as the last resort to destroy the Gods. In the first battle with Zeus, Typhon actually won by capturing Zeus’ sinews. Fortunately, the god of speed recovered the sinews. In the second battle, Zeus managed to defeat Typhon and sealed him under Mount Etna.
Last one is an idea I had (I'm a brony, don't judge): Discord: (If you know what this is then good for you, if not, here is an image)
I've always had a passion for art, physics, and computer science. That combination led me straight to animation!
Oh, I meant that literally I can't do animations like that. My spacial rotations I guess they are called fall apart, especially with the head. There are lots of rules I have to follow to avoid my models falling apart or make part rotation in non-intuitive ways. The spacial rotation set also mades my code clash with the Animation API so I sort of had to merge the two to introduce action based animation to my mod . I am hoping the addChild function manguything fixes many problems and with what I have tried so far, it very much does fix several problems.
Though I am also finding addChild does a lousy job at replacing the other things I already do, such as tail animations. So at least I didn't completely waste my time developing these rotation matrices. c.c' But at least the head + z-axis & y-axis rotation problems are fixed now. That was just the worst to try and figure out with spacial rotation.
Well that is cool you have come so far in animation. I have no formal education in 3-D animation but I could notice a lot of little features in your animations with the Ferrous Wroughtnaut. Like the bending knees, twisting body, and the tilting head,

That Foliath... It's so Legend of Zelda. It's amazing!
I always called those plant things from Legend of Zelda "Lackey Lackeys" because their tongue would move around a lot. O.o

Now for a limited time you can try Mirkwood for free for a month. Mirkwood is not for everyone, especially children, women who are pregnant, or may become pregnant. Side effects include: nausea, vomiting, loss of bowel control, urges to speak German at random moments, explosive radiation poisoning, mutation, itchy, watery eyes, protein denaturalization, high fever, gooifying, potty-mouth, loss of charisma, and death. You must be 18 or over to be eligible to take Mirkwood. Ask your doctor if Mirkwood is right for you.
Not all mods support 1.7.x versions. If some people wanted to use this mod in a modpack they would have to remove some mods to upgrade to 1.7.10 so that they could use this mod. A lot of people still use 1.6.4

I understand, but no. I need to focus on progress rather than regression. Sorry!
Mowzie, do you think you could add that legend of Zelda music from a few pages back, put it on a music disc, and have it drop from the wraughtnaught? I really want that music in game, and music discs are added in mods far too rarely in my opinion.

Oh, wow I'm flattered! None whatsoever, actually...

Speaking of progress, how long do you estimate it will take for the wraughtnaught to be released?
.
Guh I'm bad at estimates. Early June?
So, It could be close or far from that estimate? Or are you giving us a lil. Hint. Kinda. k
My Avatar: Totally not me.
AND IF YOU THINK IT IS ME THEN YOU HAVE NO REASON TO. MY AVATAR IS UNIQUE AND I HAVE BALLS TO PUT IT UP. >3>
anyway luv u <3
Are any bug fixes going to be released with the wraughtnaught, or will there be a separate update?
.
No hints or anything cryptic like that. I honestly just cannot say when it will be ready besides this loose and probably wrong estimate.
Nah, I'm going to hold off until its ready, unless it takes way too long.
Seems impressive! Keep working on it!
Mowzie, do you think you could add that legend of Zelda music from a few pages back, put it on a music disc, and have it drop from the wraughtnaught? I really want that music in game, and music discs are added in mods far too rarely in my opinion.
Oh, hah! Nah, I don't think so. Sorry.
