So I know that you look to us for ideas for your incredible mobs. So I think what might help me at least come up with some ideas is hearing from you what things you would like to see on a mob. Not like an entire mob because that would seem kindof pointless because you would have made it by now but like a specific ability or attack that you think would be super cool on a mob but don't know what the mob would look like or maybe an idea for a mob model but don't know what its attacks would look like or a cool item it may drop. Mostly just bits and pieces of mob ideas that need more to be actually usable. Let me know what you may want to see on a mob like an ability or attack or item a mob could drop. With I bit of minor ideas from you I think it would be a bit easier to come up with a good idea for your mod. I feel like alot of us kindof selfishly give our ideas and ask you to make them but we dont really take the time to think about what ideas the man behind the mod might have. I feel like we all could benefit if we asked for more of your minor ideas like designs and attacks and drop and helped you build on those to make an awesome mob from the combined ideas of the creator and his community. Like I have always wanted to see like a mob or item that could slow time like when a skeleton shoots an arrow its is slowed down to where you can walk around it and attack the slowed mob. However, I have know clue what an item like that would look like or if it was a mob what it would even be close to looking like. And like the mob idea for your gauntlet mob that would like smack around the player like Master Hand, thought it would be a cool touch if it moved by crawling around like Thing from Adams Family. Well, if I knew what I wanted from suggestions, I wouldn't be asking for them in the first place, no?
I'm looking for things from the community that I could not have thought of myself. I don't need these ideas; I have too many of my own. But, once in a while, someone has an idea that I like even more than some of my own, and I put it on my list.
So, to readdress you comment, there's nothing that I actively need from suggestions, and I won't know what I want from them until I hear it.
Maybe some kind of huge evil wolf? Maybe kill it by letting it charge at you, and let it hit a wall, then start attacking while its dazed...

I have an idea:A crab-like creature.Not sure about a name.

1.Jump Attack-Launches into the air,pops a spike out of his underbelly and slams into the ground on top of you.You CAN dodge it if you notice where he is going to hit before he falls(A shadow will appear on the ground).
2.Acid Spit-I think this one is fairly obvious...
3.Spike Launch-Shoots spikes from it's sides in all directions
4.Spin Charge-It folds it's legs in and spins in a straight line towards you.
Weakness:If you dodge it's Spin Charge and it hits a wall,it will flip over and you have to hit it's underbelly.It has the same amount of health as the FW,but due to it's thick shell,you do less damage to it per hit.
Appearance:Not sure how to describe it other than a crab mixed with the pokemon Matagross.
I hope you like my idea,although something similar was probably suggested before...
Edit:It looks a bit like the lower half of this thing,except orange with spikes around the sides and a mouth with mandibles and six visible eyes above it's mouth.

I feel like the idea is missing unity and theme. Going to have to turn it down.
A ghost or something that holds a candle (With a faint image of an eye above the candle) and if you get caught in the candle's light the ghost will go ballistic, gaining alot of defence and health and gain some new powerful attacks.

Description:A large,heavily built reptile with dark grey scales,three rhino-like horns on it's snout,and a clubbed tail.It's hide is very thick everywhere but on it's underbelly.
Abilities:
1.Charge Attack-Scuffs it's foot on the ground (Like a bull),and charges in a straight line towards the player.
2.Tail Swing-Hits the player with it's tail,knocking them back and into the air.
3.War Cry-Roars loudly,summoning random mobs to it's aid.It does this at half health.
4.Rampage-When near death,it chases after the player.It breaks anything weaker than stone.
Weakness:If you dodge it's Charge Attack and it hits a wall,it will become dazed and fall over.Once it falls over,you have to hit it's underbelly.It has 75 health.
I've skimmed over this topic for a bit and couldn't find the answer to my question. I'm currently using LLibrary 0.3.3, and running MC 1.7.10. All is well until the Wroughtnaught Chamber generates (which I'm sure you are already aware of) and causes the server to crash.

I don't know if this helps you at all, but it's clearly that event which causes the problem. I saw you don't really plan to update this mod for 1.7.10 anymore, and was wondering if this crash is on your mod's end, or if it's reliant upon an update to LLibrary to resolve this crash? If it's on your end, would you consider trying to resolve this bug before ditching 1.7.10?

Instead of his roar summoning mobs, how about it just makes you freeze in place, it could spawn in swamp biomes, lying in wait in the deep waters, waiting for a unsuspecting player to swim over it....

I've skimmed over this topic for a bit and couldn't find the answer to my question. I'm currently using LLibrary 0.3.3, and running MC 1.7.10. All is well until the Wroughtnaught Chamber generates (which I'm sure you are already aware of) and causes the server to crash.

I don't know if this helps you at all, but it's clearly that event which causes the problem. I saw you don't really plan to update this mod for 1.7.10 anymore, and was wondering if this crash is on your mod's end, or if it's reliant upon an update to LLibrary to resolve this crash? If it's on your end, would you consider trying to resolve this bug before ditching 1.7.10?

Ah, I think I recall hearing about this before. I'll figure out what's wrong, but the fix will not come to the 1.7.10 version. The code is already updated and going back will be a real delay.

So two of your three Mobs are new to me. All three of them seam to be "Lore Friendly" (if you can speak of a "Lore"). By that I mean that they dont seam to break the Feeling of the Game.
Mind if I add a few litte Suggestions?
1. Is it possible to add a short discription of the Mob in the first Post? Maybe in a Spoiler? That way I and others like me could read about the Mobs and what they do without needing to schroll past thousends of Posts to find out if they want this Mob in the Game.
2. If someone doesnt want a certain Mob, but wants some others, there could be a Possibility to turn certain Mobs off in the Settings, so its not all or none.
3. What about sentient Ocean creatures?
They could have something like cities on the bottom of Ocean and Deep Ocean biomes, could Trade with the Player and have compeatly diffrent traids than Villagers. The Player could not Trade with a city bevore he spoke with the leader of the city. As long as he dosent break or place Blocks inside the city and doesnt attack any of the Inhabitants, theyll be peaceful and friendly, but if he does, they attack him trying to kill him.
In one City, there would be three Types of them:
-Leader: Only One per City. The Player must rightklick him to enable traiding in his City. If he dies, the City blows up.
-Citizen: Arround as much of them as there are structures in the city. They trade wiith the Player, if the Player is allowed to. They also attack the player if he brakes their rules inside the city.
-Babys: Similar to baby Animals or baby villagers.
Of course they would look like Fishmonsters or something. They could use Tridents in Battle, or something that fits.
This are just Ideas, of course. You can use parts of my suggestion and combine with your ideas or others.

Hi Mr. Mowzie,
So I know that you look to us for ideas for your incredible mobs. So I think what might help me at least come up with some ideas is hearing from you what things you would like to see on a mob. Not like an entire mob because that would seem kindof pointless because you would have made it by now but like a specific ability or attack that you think would be super cool on a mob but don't know what the mob would look like or maybe an idea for a mob model but don't know what its attacks would look like or a cool item it may drop. Mostly just bits and pieces of mob ideas that need more to be actually usable. Let me know what you may want to see on a mob like an ability or attack or item a mob could drop. With I bit of minor ideas from you I think it would be a bit easier to come up with a good idea for your mod. I feel like alot of us kindof selfishly give our ideas and ask you to make them but we dont really take the time to think about what ideas the man behind the mod might have. I feel like we all could benefit if we asked for more of your minor ideas like designs and attacks and drop and helped you build on those to make an awesome mob from the combined ideas of the creator and his community. Like I have always wanted to see like a mob or item that could slow time like when a skeleton shoots an arrow its is slowed down to where you can walk around it and attack the slowed mob. However, I have know clue what an item like that would look like or if it was a mob what it would even be close to looking like. And like the mob idea for your gauntlet mob that would like smack around the player like Master Hand, thought it would be a cool touch if it moved by crawling around like Thing from Adams Family. That was probably what I was most excited about when I was looking through your planned mobs. But yeah in my eyes I would love to see mobs made from the combined ideas of you and the community. Love your work!

I'm looking for things from the community that I could not have thought of myself. I don't need these ideas; I have too many of my own. But, once in a while, someone has an idea that I like even more than some of my own, and I put it on my list.

I have an idea:A crab-like creature.Not sure about a name.

1.Jump Attack-Launches into the air,pops a spike out of his underbelly and slams into the ground on top of you.You CAN dodge it if you notice where he is going to hit before he falls(A shadow will appear on the ground).

4.Spin Charge-It folds it's legs in and spins in a straight line towards you.
Weakness:If you dodge it's Spin Charge and it hits a wall,it will flip over and you have to hit it's underbelly.It has the same amount of health as the FW,but due to it's thick shell,you do less damage to it per hit.
Appearance:Not sure how to describe it other than a crab mixed with the pokemon Matagross.

Edit:It looks a bit like the lower half of this thing,except orange with spikes around the sides and a mouth with mandibles and six visible eyes above it's mouth.

That mechanic doesn't really suit a wolf mob in my opinion, rather a bull or beast.
I feel like the idea is missing unity and theme. Going to have to turn it down.

Here's a cool concept for ya.
A ghost or something that holds a candle (With a faint image of an eye above the candle) and if you get caught in the candle's light the ghost will go ballistic, gaining alot of defence and health and gain some new powerful attacks.

Like, you made the creature based on a crab, but its abilities don't draw from that at all. Instead, the attacks feel a bit generic and tacked-on.
Pretty neat idea! Might encourage some stealth-like gameplay.

Description:A large,heavily built reptile with dark grey scales,three rhino-like horns on it's snout,and a clubbed tail.It's hide is very thick everywhere but on it's underbelly.
Abilities:

2.Tail Swing-Hits the player with it's tail,knocking them back and into the air.
3.War Cry-Roars loudly,summoning random mobs to it's aid.It does this at half health.
4.Rampage-When near death,it chases after the player.It breaks anything weaker than stone.

I don't know if this helps you at all, but it's clearly that event which causes the problem. I saw you don't really plan to update this mod for 1.7.10 anymore, and was wondering if this crash is on your mod's end, or if it's reliant upon an update to LLibrary to resolve this crash? If it's on your end, would you consider trying to resolve this bug before ditching 1.7.10?

EDIT: Additionally, the chamber still generates and we can just wait for the server to reboot and continue playing, but I'd rather not have everyone get booted every time a new chamber generates.
I have a better idea, how about a Bull Croc,
Instead of his roar summoning mobs, how about it just makes you freeze in place, it could spawn in swamp biomes, lying in wait in the deep waters, waiting for a unsuspecting player to swim over it....

Ah, I think I recall hearing about this before. I'll figure out what's wrong, but the fix will not come to the 1.7.10 version. The code is already updated and going back will be a real delay.

I havent been arround for a while, and Im too lazy to read all the post since I was here last time.
So two of your three Mobs are new to me. All three of them seam to be "Lore Friendly" (if you can speak of a "Lore"). By that I mean that they dont seam to break the Feeling of the Game.
Mind if I add a few litte Suggestions?
1. Is it possible to add a short discription of the Mob in the first Post? Maybe in a Spoiler? That way I and others like me could read about the Mobs and what they do without needing to schroll past thousends of Posts to find out if they want this Mob in the Game.
2. If someone doesnt want a certain Mob, but wants some others, there could be a Possibility to turn certain Mobs off in the Settings, so its not all or none.
3. What about sentient Ocean creatures?
They could have something like cities on the bottom of Ocean and Deep Ocean biomes, could Trade with the Player and have compeatly diffrent traids than Villagers. The Player could not Trade with a city bevore he spoke with the leader of the city. As long as he dosent break or place Blocks inside the city and doesnt attack any of the Inhabitants, theyll be peaceful and friendly, but if he does, they attack him trying to kill him.
In one City, there would be three Types of them:
-Leader: Only One per City. The Player must rightklick him to enable traiding in his City. If he dies, the City blows up.
-Citizen: Arround as much of them as there are structures in the city. They trade wiith the Player, if the Player is allowed to. They also attack the player if he brakes their rules inside the city.
-Babys: Similar to baby Animals or baby villagers.
Of course they would look like Fishmonsters or something. They could use Tridents in Battle, or something that fits.
This are just Ideas, of course. You can use parts of my suggestion and combine with your ideas or others.

Thanks for the answer, although I'm sad to see no fix coming, as I was hoping to feature this in my 1.7.10 modpack.
