Regarding you not being able to push, are you getting anything about a "non-fast-forward" error? If so, it's because I made a change in the repository. You need to pull first to merge the changes on your end, then you can push. Needing to commit may be related to the same thing (I've never worked on a repository I didn't create before, so I've never seen some of these issues).
Sorry. An error (not in the code, but caused by restarting the server incorrectly) of mine broke that. Fixed now!
i cant push nor pull and commiting is just strange. My branch is Walt_Disney_II so idk if its cause im doing it on a different branch
IDK ill try working things out but i may need to delete all my changes -.-

Deeper caves + Aether + Galacticraft + Lord of the rings = Awesome dimensional modpack!
One thing i'm liking is the sweet sweet gold i'm finding in the drop layer!
bugs/suggestions:
1) i have entered a portal in the crystal layer and i've gone to the bedrock plains layer instead of the compressed layer
2) ametrine, sapphire, aquamarine should be affected by fortune enchantment on pickaxes
3) how about sapphire and aquamarine armor and tools?
EDIT:
4) how about ametrine armor?
ametrine armor would be cool!

Will this have compatibility with Underground Biomes Construct and Metallurgy 4? Would be neat seeing the different rock types in a realistic distribution the deeper you go, and seeing more valuable Metallurgy Metals in deeper levels of the underground, so not every metal is in the overworld.

Probably not unless the mods have APIs for this. If not, it will take a lot of reflection code modifying them at runtime to make it work, which would be a huge hassle to make and update every time Metallurgy or Underground Biomes Constructs updates. Underground Biomes Constructs has an API, but it appears to be for retexturing ores to match the stone they are in, not changing the distribution. If I am incorrect about this, tell me!

Would it be possible to white-list the blocks used in the world generation of each dimension and run a check if certain mods are installed.
It's possible to check, but what do you mean by "white-list the blocks used in the world generation of each dimension"?
Also, as of February 24, 2015 at 4:36:06 PM EST, the mod reached 1000 downloads!
However, my current project is not Metallurgy and Underground Biomes compatibility (which I may or may not add at all, I probably won't), but the next 3 levels!

Like checking to see if UBC is installed, and each dimension runs a whitelist of stone types from UBC and uses only the whitelisted stone types for the generation of each dimension you enter going down, i.e. more basalt and igneous stone types in say the lava caverns level(when its implimented.) This way not every stone type is used in every level descending.
Or is this whole idea just too complicated to code compared to how im making it sound? lol

i bet this will be the best cave themed mod there will be! good work!

Did you put the .jar or the DeeperCaves-0.1.2-mc1.7.10.zip? If you put the zip, try unzipping it and putting the jar inside in the mods folder instead. If you already had put the jar file in the mods folder correctly, I can't reproduce this crash.

In 0.1.1, yes, but due to a bug, that version crashes on creating a world (that's why I have a 0.1.0 link in the OP).

Edit: The crash bug is fixed!

Or is this whole idea just too complicated to code compared to how im making it sound? lol
Man, there hasn't even been a full release yet!
MORE LEVELS?! WHOOOOOOHOOOOOOOO! AWESOME!!!
this mod is WIP and reached 1k downloads! imagine when it's full release!!! AWESOME!!!
i bet this will be the best cave themed mod there will be! good work!

Did you put the .jar or the DeeperCaves-0.1.2-mc1.7.10.zip? If you put the zip, try unzipping it and putting the jar inside in the mods folder instead. If you already had put the jar file in the mods folder correctly, I can't reproduce this crash.

I put the jar file in there. It was the only mod installed (Other than Forge).
