1.9.4 works with 1.10 and 1.10.2
Yea its just most are waiting for the update for the bug fix for the boats causing crash when ya place a boat in water.
The 1.9.4 version now just crashes newer Forge 1.10.2 versions on startup, so I look forward to the update.
may want to check your mods i run 84 mods in my 1.10.2 running forge 2014 (current) with streams no issues besides the boat crash
I am just very happy that the underground tunnels have been updated for the 1.7.10 version as well.
Still looking to find my first stream underground!
any luck with the boat crash? I'm really starting to think about removing this from my pack I love streams and the mod author has done a great job sadly this is hurting people cause we want to keep it in our packs, all in all i guess it is my fault moving to 1.10.2 guessing it would just work
Version 1.9.4-0.2.1 is out! This fixes the boat crash in 1.10 as well as crashes and missing flow animations with the latest versions of OptiFine. Please give it a try!

I loved the underground rivers, hope you can expand on it further like adding underwater caves that would be awesome!
Whenever I sprint in the water, there are missing texture particles. Whenever I sprint in normal water, the sprinting particles are the water texture.
Glad the new update is out, but I can't play MC until the second week of August as I had to send my computer in for repairs (the power jack broke).
It shipped on Monday, should be there on Friday, and should be repaired next week sometime, and shipped back by the end of next week. Then another week for delivery back to Indiana (the repair place is in California).
I am going through withdrawal.

I thought I had asked for this, but apparently not.
Can you do something to either mark the stream heads, or put something on a forge bus when you generate a stream head? I'm thinking of those blocks at the head of the streams, in the little stone cubbyholes.
Specific reason: I actually got a request for an infinite water block in Realistic Fluids, and if I'm going to have an absorption system in the next version I can deal with "flooding". Using Streams to carve water channels, and Realistic Fluids to have water flowing from an infinite source results in only a need to get rid of excess water. And it's not like I didn't have that by accident before my last bugfix :).

I think this is a most excellent mod, and should seriously be included in base minecraft, HOWEVER, I've been doing some testing with the latest 1.9.4 versions of Farseek and Streams in our new 1.10.2 build, and it's causing the most horrendous amount of lag, which the 1.7.10 version never did. Maybe it's a bad interaction with other mods, I don't know, but makes the game unplayable.
Could you add a config option to blacklist/whitelist biomes?
Hi Snipe, I do have a plan for special buckets that can lay a fixed-flow river block in the direction the player is facing. This is for individual blocks though, it won't magically make a whole river from a source block. My suggestion above was only about flagging sources for identification by other mods.
As for water speed, this is more difficult than it looks. It would require copying the water texture data with different animation speeds, which could mess up things like shaders, and probably not look great if there's just two or three speeds with no interpolation possible between them. I'll take another look but it's not likely to happen by my own hand.
