Yes 1.11!!
Now all i need is the VillageInfo mod :/
@SrPerdomo Take a look at this YouTube video -
It's largely the same, just use 1.7.10 and my mod instead of the 1.5.2 & OptiFine as he suggests. I run on a mac so can't help with the peculiarities of the Windows launcher but I'm sure others here can help if you have additional questions.
Does this work with 1.11.2 or we have to wait for the update of the mod?
It does not work for 1.11.2 atleast not for me, soI guess we have to wait to the update.
Update 1.0.0 Beta 14
Adds:-
Available for Forge 1.11.2 | 1.11 and Vanilla 1.11.2 | 1.11
Thank you for updating this.
Yes!! You must of done this during the holiday.. Thanks foer the update! one question..When it shows the outline for slime chunks does the outline go to y40 the highest point where slimes can spawn?! Happy New Year btw
I just accidentally found this mod. Congratuations and thanks for this effort. I have a version of Kabo's Village Marker Mod with the LiteLoader client. It's been working fine on 1.10 but no longer with 1.11 as it no longer finds the v1_10_R1 JAR. So I started looking for a resolution and I found this mod.
Any chance for "Vanilla" compatibility with Spigot SMP 1.11.2?
Thanks!

This is such a great mod!
do you think you could add a way to automatically update the server files every time you log in / use a command, by retrieving the files from the server with FTP or something?

Hey CaptainStarbuck - By Spigot SMP 1.11.2 support do you mean running on a spigot server? Of course if you just want the mod client side you could load the mod into the client and use the local dat files approach with any server.
Update 1.0.0 Beta 15
Fixes:-
Available for Forge 1.11.2 | 1.11 | 1.10.2 and Vanilla 1.11.2 | 1.11
Forge version works great in 1.11.2, though there are no bounding boxes in the mineshafts or strongholds.
@BobTWC The rendering of mineshafts and strongholds are disabled by default. You can enable them by creating the necessary config file.
Hi Irtimeled,
Thanks for this tool. Very useleful. However, I can't use it to test real-time automated iron farm's reset due to village graphics not updating or updating with huge delay.
Sometimes it take about 30 sec to update village's graphic (rather than 6 or 8 seconds). Sometimes it doesn't update at all unless I reload the world. Sometimes it doesn't update at all unless I delete data/villages.dat and then reload the world. It's not 3D lag; fps are good. I checked for special chars in the world's directory path: none.
So, how to fix ?
Hey Orchan,
I noticed this a few times myself but wasn't able to identify steps to reproduce - if you can get repeatable steps then please let me know. Of course if I figure it out then I'll do a fix.
Thanks!
I am having a little trouble, trying to get this to work for my small personal server.
From the "Installing" section on the main post it says...
I've read through all the posts, and am not 100% sure HOW to get this to work for my server.
> We are using spigot, server version is 1.11.
> I dropped the forge file for 1.11 into my plugins folder in my server directory (not the vanilla file, I downloaded the Forge 1.11 file)
Also, The client side version works for single player, although the nether fortress bounding boxes are huge and do not look at all like the picture in the intial post, large sections of the nether fortress are outlined instead of smaller sections of the nether fortress like I would have expected. I cycled through the O key, to see if that was it, and it was not.
I can live with issue 2, but I would really like to know how to get this installed on my spigot server.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
i don't think you are going to manage installing a forge version on a spigot server, its definitely not the same thing. And i don't think there is a spigot version.
as for the nether fortress bounding box, check your keybinds.

Well, like I said.. that is why I needed help. There is a forge version, and a vanilla version, and the install info said to install it on client AND server. I have no idea how to install it on the server, and this needed advice.
I tried to load a single player game of my server's seed, then copy over all the .dat files, to the directory layout indicated in several posts, but I still see nothing when on my server.
OP:
Is there any way to see this work on a server, or not?
If so, what are the steps needed?
If not, then perhaps remove the confusing line "this will need to be installed on client and server in an SMP scenario" from the initial post.
I think the last time I used this mod was in 1.8.9, but it did work on my vanilla server, when I just copied the *.dat files to the correct directory locally.
Looking at the code, the mod seems to be looking at them in 3 different possible locations:
I'm not entirely sure/I can't remember if it needs the IP address or the hostname. But also note that the structure files are directly inside those directories along with the level.dat, and not inside a nested data/ directory like they are normally in the world save.
And there also seem to be config options to enable/disable individual structure types, so make sure they are enabled. And then I believe there is also a keybind to toggle rendering on/off.
Edit: So basically there are two ways to use the mod in multiplayer, one is to use the locally copied structure files, or the cached structures from a singleplayer world using the same seed, or you could have the structure data synced from the server automatically, if you can install the mod on the server side. But for that you'd need to be running a Forge based server, (or a jar modded vanilla server? Not sure if that's an option on the server or just for the client..?).

Hye there. Loving that this mod is still supported.
Need to ask, how do you install the vanilla version in the new launcher? Mojang updated the formatting on the .json found in the versions folders, so I can't figure out what I need to edit on them, because the "release" doesn't appear on the droplist when creating/editing a profile.
