I just saw your post and was interested in your mod but the download for
the mod at the page you posted isnt working (tried the zip version). However I was able to retrieve the one posted
at github though but I thought you might want to know because not
everyone would check there. Anyway, thanks for the mod im gonna test it
now.
After a bit of testing I find myself unable to make sandstone stairs. I tried both the old recipe and the new one and I am able to craft the cobblestone stairs fine. Is this a bug?
The download .zip button is for the source code.
I will try to fix the sandstone stairs bug, if I can find it.

Umm..can you make a version compatible with 1.6.4? I tried using it on 1.7.10, keep giving me a crash report. Now I'm using another computer to play 1.6.4 forge.

@Anon10W1z I really love this mod. It changes and adds things that should be part of minecraft anyway!
This sorely needs a proper info OP! Minecraft Forums are one of the most popular places to find mods. If the OP had proper info, way more people would get it and be able to appreciate this for the great mod it is.
As it stands, I had to sift through four different websites and the entirety of this thread to find the info I needed.
Soooo, I am willing to write you up an OP with screenshots, info, changelog, download links etc that you can copy paste into the OP and make it easy for people to enjoy this mod too. All I need is a changelog and links to the 1.7.10 and 1.8 downloads.
All I ask is that if you would like me to do this, you do indeed put it into the OP - I'm a busy parent with 5 kids, one of whom is a young baby so it would seriously suck for me to use what precious little time I have to do all that for you only to have it wasted.
Sound good?

Just got 2.3.3 of the mod and it's great! Thanks for the hard work.
Only problem is that I can not repair/combine tools. When I remove the mod .jar it works again. I don't know if it's a conflict with some other mod doing this.. I can send you a list or file if you need.
-edit-
Unless, of course, it's by design. I see the anvil still works for repairing (which is really more realistic). I like it!

Oh that was actually by design. I'll add that to the description since it's not there already. Good catch

Does this have a config file to disable anything you don't want?
[EDIT] Scratch that, worked it out for myself.

That's for the 1.8 version, there is no 1.7.10 version. There is no change log.

I would like this to be made for 1.7.10 so I can use Glenn's Gases.
Are you aware that you removed all of the best features? The ones that people liked?
I suggest you add back in the features you removed and make them configurable.
Tell him to update his mod.
