Love your mod, it's so handy. What I love most is the opening another backpack inside a backpack feature, it's awesome.
By the way, I found a (dupe) bug: If you open a backpack and while looking at it look at the same backpack by right clicking it in your inventory you see its contents again. So far so good. But, if before opening the backpack the second time, you mess with the backpack, let's say, take out an item, when you open the backpack the second time (while already inside your inventory by right clicking) it's content are not updated, so the item you just took out is still there, and you can take it out again, duping it.
Thanks!
I knew I probably missed some bug, that feature has a lot of corner cases and I just test it myself to try and catch everything. Anyways, it is fixed for the next update (I just disabled the ability to right click the same backpack you already have open, because there is no reason you would need to reopen an already open backpack).
Makes sense, thanks. Also, have you considered allowing to create colored backpacks? They would be better to distinguish at a glance.
When I first considered colored backpacks I didn't think I would implement them because it would make distinguishing between the tiers of each backpack very difficult. However, thinking about it more led me to the idea of allowing only the top tier backpack dye-able, so that if you see a backpack of a color other than (brown/silver/gold/blue) you know it must be a diamond level backpack, and so it keeps it distinctiveness while being able to be uniquely colored.
However, it isn't at the top of my To-Do list, as the renaming feature currently allows you to distinguish between all packs pretty easily (although admittedly not without hovering over them with your mouse). If you have another suggestion though, I would be glad to hear it!
Fixed a dupe bug, but the main change was to refactor and document the source code, so that it is (hopefully) a learning source for other aspiring modders.
Hey gr8pefish, I have an idea for a cross-mod upgrade. If Thaumcraft is installed, a backpack upgrade that allows the user to store/use foci in a similar fashion to the focus pouch would be awesome! Maybe the crafting recipe could be 4 nether quartz and four of any shard (maybe it could even be a thauminomicon research).

What do you think?
Hmm. I don't want to duplicate functionality, as TC already has a focus pouch, and if you have more foci than it can hold in the vanilla TC pouch then you likely have Thaumic Tinkerer which already means you have a bigger pouch. I do want to do some Thaumcraft integration, but I don't think a focus pouch is necessary.
Also, for anyone else reading this, the planned update won't be out for about another 2 weeks. The reason for this is because I got sick, and fell behind a little in my schoolwork, meaning I didn't have time to mod. It is now the end of the semester (final projects, finals, etc.) so I have to focus on university for the time being, plus I have to rewrite a decent part of IB to make the next update work for SMP. However, hopefully I can push out updates even faster once summer rolls around.

I tested this on local machine and it's perfect! I loaded it on our mcprohosting server and didn't get any error messages, it loaded fine. But when I switched to creative to get a backpack to test, the "iron backpacks" tab was empty.
Really cool mod. Found a bit of an inconvenience. Using the Drawers mod for all of my storage and when I left click (or shift left click) to extract anything from a drawer that is in my backpack filter the backpack grabs the items (and compresses them since I also have the crafting mod). Be nice if this did not happen.

Any input on this at all? Am I the only one having this issue?
Thanks!

When I added them I also added a config option for which texture to use, look at the last line in your config file and alter it to fit your needs
