This mod in my opinion is one of the best star wars mods there is. I love it so much I would like to make a map including it but I'm wondering Is there a command to give yourself force xp? That would be nice for creating adventure maps. ;D
Ok so i think that ive worked out the issue, the new minecraft launcher sucks and doesn't support 1.7.10 for some stupid ass reason. I don't know if its intended or not but ive tryed with/without the mod, with/without forge, and every version from 1.11 - 1.7 and they all work. They can all launch a world except 1.7. You cant launch any worlds. Anyone else have the same issue? Know how to fix? ples help!
PS this is the best mod ever from what you've said + pics wish i could play it ;(
So I assume you've tried to open an unmodded 1.7? Well, assuming that is the case, uninstalling and reinstalling Minecraft could be your best option honestly. Something could have been corrupted when downloading the new launcher so a clean wipe might be your best bet.
for the 1.2 version of the mod can you please add these lightsabers
Darth Sidious' Lightsaber (called call it in the mod Lord Lightsaber)
Qui Gon Jinn's Lightsaber (probably call it grey jedi lightsaber)
Welp just re-installing 1.7 didnt work it still came up with this error:
The game crashed whilst unexpected error The game crashed whilst unexpected error Error: java.lang.IndexOutOfBoundsException
no idea what to do with that information but hay, I also tried other version and earlier ones work, the new ones work, and now unmodded 1.7 works so does forge but when i launched it with the mod as well it crashed it was at this point i deleted the mod and re-downloaded it for no other reason it finally works. sorry for the waste of time but there's the solution, if it crashes when you launch a world, delete and re-install the mod.

To fix, just turn down your render distance to anything below 16. This happens if you had your render distance set to anything above that in later versions of MC.
Any plans to introduce new lightsaber sounds? I'm still waiting on the classic 'snap-hiss' one. Also, will we see the ability to deflect projectiles and a config to disable the Force bar usage anytime soon? Thanks!
One thing I would love to see in this mod, as a starwars fan would be be custom sith swords and jedi swords as I love the era before the lightsaber age. I think this would be a good way to bridge the gap between early and late game. In order to balance this out is to make them have durability. A special feature of the sith sword is the ability to absorb sith electricity like a capacitor and at a later time disperse the electricity.

They work together. For every 2 xp you get you get 1 force xp.

Besides, when I do eventually move to newer versions, I won't work my way up - It'll be straight to the newest MC version.
Yoda's lightsaber won't be added because of it's small length, Darth Sidious' Lightsaber is already planned, and according to this page http://forum.fiskmods.com/threads/official-lightsaber-and-equipment-suggestion-thread.42/ Qui Gon Jinn's lightsaber is probably planned for 1.2
There is also this doc for things to check out and things that are already planned for 1.2.
