Palettes is a simple mod designed for the artists of the Minecraft community.
Too much time is spent scrolling through NEI to get the block with just the right texture, sometimes Chisel doesn't quite cut it and sometimes you want to add your own little flair.
Palettes allows you to make your own custom textures and apply them to a block. You can use the texture editor in-game or even import your own if you use programs like Gimp, Photoshop or even MS Paint if you're in the 1950s.
These textures are uploaded to the server and available to any player, meaning you can use this mod in Multiplayer, to show your texturing skills to anyone!
Apply these textures to the Palette block and you can have your own custom blocks, with your own textures! The possibilities are (quite literally) endless!

This isn't my first mod, in fact I've made many before :P. Thank you thought
(SourceCodedCore, Beheaded, Creative Additions, Quantum Anomalies, among others)
Not quite sure how this works. I did find the icon in the escape menu. I may need some step by step instructions. Where does it save the textures?
If you play Single Player, textures are found in your minecraft root (%appdata%/.minecraft) in the 'palettes' folder.
If you play SMP, they are stored on the server.
To load the textures onto a block, get the 'Palette' block and the 'Palette Editor' block. Place down the Palette Editor and from there you can bind the textures you have saved to a block
