Singleplayer
1. Install Forge.
2. Make a new folder in your ".minecraft" folder called "mods", if it doesn't already exist.
3. Drag the BuildHelper.jar file into your "mods" folder.
Multiplayer

Features
Adds wands to the game that help with building.
Meant for creative mode only.
Wands
Universal Wand:
Builds from point a to point b with a selected block.
Deletion Wand:
Removes blocks from point a to point b.
Future Feature Ideas
Green = Is completed, and will be in the next release.
Orange = Is being worked on, but might not be in the next release.
Red = Is not yet started.
Replace Wand. (Replaces block A with block B in a selected box area.)
Hollow Wand (Same as universal, but leaves the inside hollow.)
Sphere Wand (Creates a sphere from point A to point B.)
Hollow Sphere Wand (Same as sphere, but leaves the inside hollow.)
Clone Wand (Clones a selection.)
Schematic Wand (Creates schematics from schematic files with a gui.)
Smooth Wand (Smoothens all edges and ridges in a selection.)

Yeah, I made the mod basically for creative mode only to simplify players' lives who like to build, but do not want to do these kind of tedious tasks, such as clearing an area, making walls, etc. I might add in survival balancing in later versions, thanks for the input!

Thanks for doing this Slymask3, this is going to save me so much time and trouble. I'm currently finishing off the structure packs for the Ancient Warfare mods next big release - over 200 structures - and this is going to be an invaluable tool. This mod has really made my week!
Been testing it and it works fine. Love the graphics and sound effects block selection and operation - that's a big improvement.
Could I suggest that if you do add survival mode aspects to the mod, that they are done as config options, or maybe put them into the instant blocks mod which is survival based? It would be nice to have a mod that is a collection of building tools dedicated to creative mode, where there is no worry about inventory or crafting.

hollow wand only fills the outer blocks of the selection inside remains hollow.
clone wand you select a piece of land like the fill wand and on right click it gets copied to the point where you are standing.
sphere wand and hollow sphere wand as name suggests you select a region and a sphere is createt depending on wand hollow or solid.
maybe a way to import/save shematic files from worldedit/mcedit would be nice to with a GUI to select from a predefined folder like you would select a texturepack.
A smooth wand you select a region and everything in this region would get the edges and ridges smoothened.
yes this a are my ideas that would make a great addition to this mod and would make it an efficiant tool.

Love the mod, but whenever I try to delete a little block from the littleblocks mod it crashes my minecraft. I am using version 1.7.10 and can place tiny blocks just fine with the other wand. Just letting you know.
Hi! I love this mod. It's helpful for clearing land which Always saves time. I have a few questions and suggestions. I am looking to build a city, and some other big projects like a dam, a zoo/aquarium and just things like a road network and some small towns. I'll be honest I'm a horrible builder and I also stink at with clearing and bundling on land in general. Is there a possible feature that I could be able to build more successfully, I've always wanted to build a hydro dam but I don't know how to go about it, this mod looks awesome and has a lot of potential for other awsome features! I also have had trouble with working with water as far as building underwater with the wands and also coming up with a way to drain water to build a dam and other builds that I hope to achieve. Keep up the good work!!

Can Someone please update this to 1.10.2?
Until someone ports this legendary mod I am leaving the minecraft scene. http://www.cosc.canterbury.ac.nz/greg.ewing/minecraft/mods/ArchitectureCraft/#mozTocId598776 I have watched too many legendary mods die and carpenters blocks sudden fallout out of mainstream made me cry. I realize the source is messy but some of the best mods from 1.6.4 and 1.7.10 were.
