no it's not that i am forcing the mod creator to update. it's just... i can't even play 1.6.4 on my computer anymore. it would be great for the mod creator to update, but if not then well i guess i have to not have this mod.
This mod is pretty bad to say the least. Unnecessarily overpowered mobs (that seem like they're only that strong to get attention from the mob battle community), average texturing & animations and unoriginality. Seriously, not one thing from this mod seems original in the slightest. It's just another Orespawn clone.
Why do people keep making Orespawn/SUPER STRONG MOB mods? It's not necessary in any way. There's always a Godzilla/-zilla prefixed monster or parody in there, it's always cheap and they're EVERYWHERE. I mean, I'm sure you spent a lot of time and effort into this mod, but you have to take into account how many times this has been done before and the fact that there's nothing in this mod that makes it stand out from the others.
I'd recommend just restarting the mod and trying to make it more original, and actually worthwhile. How about a monster that you can only find in a special temple in a special biome that requires exploration to find? You can defeat it with a special weapon with the mod (the more efficient way) that stuns it once you charge it up all the way by making consecutive hits against it or just hack it away with your sword. It rolls around on it's back, blows enemies away with it's breath, bites at it's foes, stomps and occasionally destroy the very ground you're standing on, causing massive holes to appear in the arena you're fighting in. At the very bottom of the arena, it's Magma, something this boss is immune to and something that your Fire Protection/Fire Resistance won't save you with. The boss' weakness is the fact that it's attacks are slow and delayed, save for rolling around on it's back and trying to ram into you like a bowling ball. Simply stun him with the weapon's laser/projectile/whatever you use when it's fully charged, and then hack away at it. Kind of like a Legend of Zelda boss, now that I think about it.
This encourages preparation, exploration and gives you some rewarding loot. Who wouldn't want to go fight this boss? It's something people don't see every now and then and forces you to explore. When you finally find the dungeon the boss is located in, people will be excited and want to take on the boss. People want to do that.
How about that instead of another "The King" or "Donutzilla" that do nothing but throw themselves into your face until somebody dies and spawn out of no where? I'm sorry if I'm sounding rude, but that's exactly what these mods feel like. They're boring, not creative, and don't try to actually "WOW" any one. They're just screeching "HEY WE HAVE SUPER STRONG MONSTERS LOVE ME" and that's starting to get annoying.
EDIT:
After watching more videos and messing around with this mod some more, I've began noticing just how overpowered a certain mob was inside of it. The "Iron Will" is the boss I'm talking about. He's a damage sponge who does nothing but ram themselves into you over and over, dealing ridiculous amounts of damage, and are the typical "GIANT BEAST" boss. It's bad design. Period.

Can you make the windigo go below 750 health and make it not that op,maybe make it as strong as the queen from orespawn, also make the twilight sword less op.Pls reply
It's people like you who bring mod creators down. If you don't like the mod then don't download it, don't even take part of it ok.
How am I supposed to know that I will not like the mod before I use it? There is no legitimate way. I'm not trying to bring down this mod creator, I'm just trying to give him ideas for a better mod. Because this one is, as I've stated above, another "WE HAVE SUPER STRONG MOBS LOVE ME" mod. Again, I know that he (or she? I dunno) probably put a lot of work into this mod, and I'm glad that he did, as some people will get enjoyment out of it. But, it's just a sub-par mod.

it's painfully obvious that most people only use your mod for Monster Battles because your mobs are unreasonably overpowered. This is why I prefer it when Mod Creators remove the ability for their monsters to take place in mob battles (ex: the Godzilla Mod and Orespawn) because all it does is cause one of the mod creators to try and top the other with overpowered monsters and unnecessary fan wars. It's just stupid.
Would a different mod/dungeon hunter mod cause this? No, because those monsters aren't meant for Monster Battles. It saves the Minecraft User-base (or whatever you call it) another unnecessary mod and fan war.

The dude is kind of suppose to do that if you looked him up he wouldn't fight with special powers or crap. He doesn't have them and would fight hand to hand and charge you. He has never fought in the show, but he would be a damage sponge probably sense he is suppose to be a Minotaur. Godzilla does the same just with fireballs. The "Giant Beast" isn't that far off as the size is about right with the show with the player being about the size of a pony. Iron Will is canonically about 3-5 times the size of a pony while the baby of the Ursa Major's, Ursa Minor, teeth are the size of a pony and it stands roughly 1-2 stories tall. Ursa Major can hold it to it's chest like a baby so it is about 15x that size. The size isn't an issue, it is keeping to the show it got some inspiration from and making the characters not just be big, but decent opponents. Play this with Orespawn and I bet when you get the ultimate set you can get 1 of the sets from this mod to replace it with to make the mobzilla fight easier. Than replace that set with a better one for the kind and than again for the queen. It scales well with Orespawn. Hell, Windigos can literally destroy the world with just 3 of them so yeah. Damn, I haven't seen any other mobs try to be super OP but the moment someone tries to make a nice mod that would be a nice add-on for Orespawn and make it harder everyone complains.

If this is supposed to be an add-on for Orespawn, why isn't it listed on the Orespawn website or stated as an add-on for Orespawn? Also, there's no way that Orespawn and Mythical Creatures would get along, as the both of the monsters would kill you endlessly before you could get any where. And I'm perfectly aware of just how powerful Godzilla is. The thing is, the mod gives you a weapon called the "Oxygen Launcher" that literally insta-kills him and any other kaiju in the mod. On top of that, low spawnrates. That's not the same for this mod, as even with it's ridiculous Homing-Projectile weapon thingy you still die from things like Windigo.
Honestly, a mod like this should not need another mod to be used alongside it to actually make it usable. That makes the bad design I stated above look even worse. It's hiding in the glory of another mod (which, arguably, is just as bad as this mod) but unlike the other mod (Orespawn), it doesn't do anything creative. Want a giant spider mech thing that you can walk around with? Sure. Orespawn gives you that. This mod only delivers on overpowered gear and even more overpowered bosses.
I still stand by that this mod is terrible.

Orespawn vs Godzilla vs MLP is really terrifying, what if more mods get in the fray? The strongest mob mods outside of these 3 are "K'ril Testuaroth - Wildycraft Mod 2550 health, extreme poison and AOE Fire Attack", "Spiderzilla - Much More Spider Mod 12,000 health, hits pretty hard, took down a horde (50-60) of 1000 HP Nightmares", and "Lady Luna - DivineRPG 8,000 health, untested so far, but has 3 forms"

Minecraft Mods are just becoming worse and worse over time. I'm glad that the Godzilla Mod turned off Mob Battles with Orespawn because these mob battles are really creating some things that shouldn't exist.
But that's not necessarily on topic, so I'd suggest we don't talk about it here.

what i'm pretty much saying is that Godzilla Mod will probably have to disable future mods that add OP Bosses, like Orespawn & MLP, but Orespawn is wayyyyy more balanced in a survival situation. this is a grim future for modded minecraft :/

From what I can tell in the thread:
This mod definitely is a decent start. From the looks of it, however, it's main strength is visuals (monster models).
I'd move this to "WIP mods" since many of the mobs seem unfinished, and I'd also add more in-game images to the thread rather than just screenshots of MLP and tabula/techne models. The variety is impressive, to say the least, however some of the textures could use some work, and it doesn't seem to have much in the way of content (outside of the monsters, which, again, look largely unfinished.) I'd also try and add some variety to the creatures, aside from stat differences and spawn locations. Give them special abilities or behaviors. (IE skeleton vs zombie) I encourage you to keep modding, whether on this mod or another.
Also, the post could use a bit of a redesign. ATM it's pretty disorganized, and kind of just a list of stuff. My advice: organize things into sections, get in-game screenshots, and use spoilers. Your banner and download sections are good.
EDIT: my opinion/impression of the mod is based solely on the main post. If it's off in some way, then that's due to an inaccurate topic post.

Why can like every mob from this mod one kill everything I mean it takes The King to kill one mob its pretty much spawning on your first day then dieing to some Tough Guys and Other Op Mobs i mean half of the sets are stronger then the Royal Guardian set Maybe Lower the opness or make there be a starter set you spawn with?
It's not an addon to orespawn, since it does not require it to run. Also, if a mod is planned to have beastfully overpowered creatures, and it achieves exactly that, then it was well designed. It does not need to be balanced if the point of the mod is to be unbalanced. It does not need any other mods to use, it even has some of the most powerful weapons in it, and the most powerful pets, and this wasn't even necessary. Usually people use more than 1 mod, and some mods add overpowered abilities, others offer overpowered enemies, it's balanced if you want to make it balanced.
Fair enough, but the simple idea of having beastfully overpowered monsters for seemingly no reason is the bad design I was talking about, not it's execution. The execution is, as some guy said above, seemingly on the level of a "Work in Progress" mod. And it does say "[WIP]" so that's fine. But the mod's concept of which it goes off of is a bad concept to start off with. I'm fully aware that a lot of mods are starting to do this exact same thing and it's turning what started to be a ridiculous trend into something just poorly designed and stupid.
And you stated that this mod has extremely powerful weapons and pets in it, and all I have to ask is "How are you going to get them without using any cheats of any kind?" You will constantly, and I mean constantly, be killed by the monsters before you can do ANYTHING in the mod. Take Windigo for example. Just spawning in a few of them and suddenly the world has nothing in it any more because Windigo is outrageously overpowered and kills everything. Is that supposed to lure the player and make him want to fight that thing? No, it makes the player go into constant fear of a Windigo, because they cannot be killed and they insta-kill everything in one go. This mod's setting isn't "fear" though, like the Godzilla Mod, it's My Little Pony and Mythical Creatures being overpowered for some unexplained reason.
Any way, I've said enough. I hate these kinds of mods, and I had high hopes that this one would be unique and possibly bring new things to this new "style" of modding. But sadly, rather not.

You do have a seriously good point.. I would indeed like this mod more if it was an Equestria styled mod where you can make a Pony Portal and then go to Equestria with the poison joke and Fluttershy Trees and Ponyville villages with ponies, and the dark forest, etc..

That's what I mean. The bronies/pegasisters/whatever-you-call-them would adore this mod if it was an MLP-Centric mod, which hasn't really been done yet save for that Mine Little Pony Model Replacement Thing. But it's not, and as a result it's not going to attract them too much. Instead it's a mod with MLP characters thrown in and given ridiculous stats and made Boss Status.
See where I'm going with this? Which mod sounds better, the mod that would attract a huge community of MLP-Fans that hasn't really been done yet or yet another mod that has a strong boss in it?
You decide.

I am attracted to the mod a bit because of the OP side of things actually... it feels like how it would if you fought them for real. Windigo's can't be stopped unless by something insanely strong in the show and almost destroyed an entire species and almost turned 2 countries into frozen wastelands killing all that lived their...and that was just 3 of them... actually now that I think about it they only was repealed not killed or defeated. Even than, the mobs don't spawn a lot, hell I had to HUNT for them when I played at night. They seem to spawn more at night like most mobs. Also, I said it FEELS like an addon not one. To me it seems to keep with a bit of the lore of MLP, creature wise, just with armor and weapons and in Minecraft.
Is it because your computer is too new?

I still stand by that this mod is terrible.
The reason Godzilla 2014 failed was because there was no Mothra in it.
Mothra is the only reason Godzilla is good. Mothra saved the movie industry. If Mothra never existed nobody would like movies. The reason many people hate Call of Duty is because it lacks Mothra.

Awesome Minecraft mod! clicky!

Still a little girls show, huh?
