Looking at the crashreport it seems that Galacticraft is somehow involved. Actually, it seems to be that the crash itself is caused by galacticraft, rather than by the potioneffect itself. You might want to report this error to his thread. Seems like a minor incompatibility. Either way the autor(s) of galacticraft need to be informed of this issue.
when i search about potion effect crashed galactricraft was a cause for one of them and when i read it it said that after deleting galacticraft his bug was fixed so the crash is cause by galacticraft because of the potion effect

Oh, testing with the Ember forge more. Doesn't seem to be working quite right, as the ratio of three to one still sometimes ends in Air for the blade and handle, with it occasionally being earth for the handle or "Combined" as the blade. As for the Ember part, it seems odd. From how I understand this, if I add "Magical", "Divine", and "Crystal" ember, I should get the effects of Magical + Divine, Magical + Crystal, and Divine + Crystal. However, that doesn't seem to be the case.
I was testing with a Chaotic, Acidic, Burning, and Smoldering Ember. In theory it should have a self damage, and a lot of +Damage. However, it ends up only having one damage buff, and that's it as seen here.

Fair enough, I just wanted lend a hand in solving this.
In other news, I have plans to bring my magical quarry into the End and wiping out the main island to remove spawning locations for endermen and abyssal zombies to make a mob spawner far more effective. I'll need to wait for the update if you have the magical quarry ignore bedrock and the portal blocks as they would get in the way.

Is there a requirement for the Mitriline Furnace to have a view of the sky? When I set it up inside my base it does not work but if I put in on the roof or elsewhere outside it seems to work fine.

It is not the furnace requiring a direct view of the sky, but the Mithriline Crystals producing energy for it. It is also true for all other structures using Mithriline Crystals

What am I doing wrong? I'm trying to craft some guns but it seems like the interface is not working or I just can't figure out what is suppose to goe in the slot with the roundish symbol.
Can you clarify what is suppose to go in that circled slot, and do I have things that should work in the other slots?
The center slot is for a soul stone, then one made out of an emerald and some of the MRU crystals(I can't recall the exact name of it.) is acts as a "battery pack" for the gun.
As for what you got wrong, you need an elemental core instead of a pale core and glass alloy instead of a magic fortified plate.

So I was able to assemble an assault rifle thanks to your help guy, but now after shooting it to the point of over heating it's not cooling off. Is this a know bug or just a fluke because something I did?
The only thing I can think that I maybe did wrong is that I never charged the weapon in a charging chamber before using it. Instead I was using wearing a Portable Matrix Deconstructor and that seemed to power the gun. Up to the time it overheated the internal MRU read 0/5000. After it over heated I waited with it on my bar for many minutes. After I got tired of waiting I thought maybe it needed the internal MRU to cool down so I build a Charging Chamber and charged it but it still didn't cool down. That was many hours ago and it's still overheated.
I'm "fighting" the Hologram in Hoanna, and keep getting a server crash [pastebin] when I log back in.
How tested is this boss fight? Knowing nothing about the combat, being made blind half the time, and having my health knocked down to half a heart repeatedly for no apparent reason... It seems like a total mess. Things are happening that make no sense and there's nothing to attack but the occasional minion that appears. Most of the time I'm blind, every armor I've tried fails to block any of the damage, I can't fly, multiple simultaneous negative potion effects, unexplained beams and spheres that I assume must be avoided (but maybe you are suppose to go into them?) and basically nothing to do but run around in circles with a blacked-out screen (did I mention the near-constant blindness?).
The fact that the "EntityArmorDestroyer" seems to be crashing the server ever time I log back in just makes it more clear that this battle hasn't been tested much for stability or playability. I'm sure the devs are quite good at defeating the boss by now, but they know what needs to be done. To make this battle better, it needs to either A) ramp up the danger in stages, giving the player enough time to learn their way through it, or separate the dangers so that only one is in play at a time (like the blindness—don't combine it with cluster bomb dodging, that's unfair).
But the crash is the big thing right now. I can't continue with my EC3 let's play as long as logging in kills the server. Is there a quick fix?
@Nonsanity: Its likely that EC3 is calling Client Side code on the Server Side. ec3.common.entity.EntityArmorDestroyer.func_70082_c is the setAngles method of entities which is Client Side only and won't exist in a server environment.

To cool the weapon down just hold right click with it in your hands for the time displayed in the description. They will not cool on their own.

Outdated forge might cause a problem. I would recommend updating to the latest(1488. Yours is 1230)
