I believe the issue here is that both mods are drawing from the global id pool. From what I have seen each mod has access to its own list of entity ids, so by switching to this mods won't conflict. The only down side to using the custom ids is that the vanilla spawn eggs will not have an item for your mob, however this can be fixed by making your own version of the spawn egg for all of your own entities (this is cool because you can then move them to your own creative tab). If your interested in seeing the source for how I do it, you can find that here. The code's not finished and documented, but it works.

Just Mojang's fault? No. Not it's not. It is your fault. RioV has tons of more content than Essence, even has a bit of crap coding, and it's still compatible with OreSpawn (as far as I know). You're using the wrong stuff to register entities, thus "running out of IDs for mobs"... No. There can almost an infinite amount of mobs. Quit blaming others for your own faults.
What do the christmas lights do? I place them and they just look like normal leaves is that meant to happen or are you meant to use something on them? Also why is the 1.5 update 9 MEGABYTES! The older ones were like 2 1/2. Anyway you could make it smaller? Love the mod though :P. And plus my textures seem glitched and I don't have optifine and x-ray mod. Could it be from a minimap because billytpy also had this issue and he had a minimap.
Since I removed Orespawn to see if there's a Lag issue with it, I put Essence of the Gods in Minecraft. AND I GOT A CRASH REPORT!!!!!! HELP!!!! D:

I'll be keeping a close eye on this mod. The only thing that is killing it for me is the fact it's not SMP ready yet. But I'm sure that is being worked on. Keep up the work and good luck !
So far I really like this mod. I really liked how a portal appeared in the nether to Boiling Point, so if you found it, you could skip Euca and The Depths, even though I chose not to. I've notice some minor glitches but they seem to have been fixed. The one thing I just don't like is the HUD. I like the percentage and all that but not the size. I also think that the essence in the bottom right is very annoying.
My suggestions:
1.) Make the size of the HUD adjustable.
2.) Add an option to revert the HUD back to the way it usually is in vanilla Minecraft.
3.) Either change the essence bars or stop them from moving like they currently due. Also make them smaller.
4.) I have a mod for crafting recipes but there are a few things that it doesn't know, such as the recipe for the enriched crafting table. Please add a wiki as soon as you can.
5.) Make the HUD switchable to the other sides.
I don't know if there is other versions but I have 1.7.10. For all I know these problems are already fixed I just don't know what to do. That's really the only complaints I have. Other than that, I love the Mod and see its potential as well. Keep up the good work and get back to me if possible.
Very nice mod, some more dimensions and bosses would be very nice. I also noticed an issue with all the versions, which is: The armor bar says 60% on all essence armors. I don't know why, but Flairium, Celestium, Condensed Diamond and Hellstone is WAAY more than 60%. Sapphire, Lunium and Shadium are less than 60%.(P.S: I'd love to see this mod in a modpack!)

My suggestions:
1.) Make the size of the HUD adjustable.
2.) Add an option to revert the HUD back to the way it usually is in vanilla Minecraft.
3.) Either change the essence bars or stop them from moving like they currently due. Also make them smaller.
4.) I have a mod for crafting recipes but there are a few things that it doesn't know, such as the recipe for the enriched crafting table. Please add a wiki as soon as you can.
5.) Make the HUD switchable to the other sides.
I don't know if there is other versions but I have 1.7.10. For all I know these problems are already fixed I just don't know what to do. That's really the only complaints I have. Other than that, I love the Mod and see its potential as well. Keep up the good work and get back to me if possible.
