Man, not sure if I should laugh or cry, about a month ago all my game saves got deleted and I had to start a new game, I have not gone anywhere other then the Nether but I have gathered a LOT of shadium, Lunium, Sapphire, diamonds, and hellstone, all are a pain in the ass to find, took a lot of time, guess I should be glad I did not get much past the gathering, and mining stage. But really so far what you have showed us from the upcoming update looks great. One question, are we going to see changes in the mod spawning system? As of now they spawn in large numbers even during the day and in towns and such.

Another option would be to delete your Dimension folders, so you can still keep your stuff and your world, but your dimension chunks will be new As for the mob spawning, we are working on turning it down, and even making some new models and having certain mobs only spawn at night.
So basically, the mod is open source but you can only
redistribute the mod in a mod pack, nothing else without my permission.
You can make Youtube or another such video hosting website videos as
long as you leave the mod link in the comments.
If you take the mod and post it without permission, I will take actions.

Might want to clarify your information a little better mate...
Distribution Licensing:
You may not redistribute this mod in any form without written permission in advance from the author(The_Slayer2), with the exception of mod packs that have valid credit towards the author. Code within the mod is open source, and therefore can be used with given credit towards the author.

uh oh i spent 8 months building my castle in survival non modded and with no creative mode help i cant TOTALLY restart. what if i've never used the mod before can i use my survival world then?

As I said before, another option would be to delete your dimension folders for Essence, so you can still keep your stuff and your world, but since you haven't used the mod yet than it should be fine

Since there are no new structures or generation added to the Nether... yet you should be fine. Only the dimensions added in Essence have new generation.

Hi, I'm not sure if this is the right place to put this, it's not technically a crash directly from your mod so I wasn't sure if I should use the crash link you provided. Anyway I've attempted to use the 1.0.0 build of your mod on a multiplayer server that I host off of a hosting service. For some reason when I try to enter a Nether portal it traps me within the portal so I end up teleporting back and forth continuously without the ability to run out. Even when another player destroys the portal you still teleport back and forth between the dimensions. This constant rapid teleportation eventually causes a server crash from memory usage. However, I tried the 1.9 build afterwards and it works fine so far. Thank you for any assistance you can provide
edit: I decided to give reinstalling 1.0.0 another go and the portal problem seems to have somehow fixed itself. However, now when any player is in the nether, the server displays a constant string of "WARNING: Failed to mark a promise as success" lines until the server eventually crashes. When I uninstall the mod and enter the nether, this no longer happens.

This mod looks great! Even better, it's for 1.8! There's one problem... https://essence-of-the-gods.net/ is broken for me. The error code is DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NXDOMAIN. If you can fix the website so that I can download the mod, that would be greatly appreciated!

We're sorry about that. The host for the website... is moving hosts. It's kinda confusing but it should be back up by Monday.
Sit tight for a while longer. Slayer works as much as he can on it, but he has a tight schedule. I've been doing what I can, but my coding knowledge isn't the largest. Eternaldoom123 will be working more on it soon. It will come, but it shouldn't take too long.

He's working fully on 1.8. If he's not going to backport any of the new stuff to 1.7.10, it's more than assured that 1.6.4 is right out.

he might be out with an update in a week or so maybe that will fix it i would just wait till 1.1.0

Curse PremiumSit tight for a while longer. Slayer works as much as he can on it, but he has a tight schedule. I've been doing what I can, but my coding knowledge isn't the largest. Eternaldoom123 will be working more on it soon. It will come, but it shouldn't take too long.
