It's only client-side. It uses loaded chunks, and even the waypoints work(but teleporting is only possible if the server allows it, it actually uses the /tp command)
give me one with your f3 screen pls. perhaps with the map hidden so I can see stuff like what java version you are using, what your graphics card is etc
Thanks again for replying so quickly, I just tried to do as you said in a tester world and it inst working. I placed the the schematic into my world, got the clock running, and set up the scoreboards, nothing. I left and re-joined multiple times, when I went to see if there was something wrong with the command blocks, this is the code I found (See Screenshot) No color codes, but as I hit the arrow key and scrolled along, this is what I encountered (See Screenshot) The codes would appear if the "|" was in between the §/letter/number combo. I think the issue is that Minecraft prohibits command blocks, or anything, from sending a client a § symbol. Or maybe the Message has to be in this format "§#W§#e§#l§#c§#o§#m§#e" rather then "Welcome §#§#§#§#§#§#" if that makes any sense
Minecraft doesn't prohibit sending those, it just makes it really hard to paste them into a command block. What you are seeing there looks right. Is this test world a multiplayer server? Check doesn't run at all for singleplayer (which includes a world open to LAN, if you are the host), though perhaps for debugging purposes it should. Another perhaps boneheaded architectural "feature" is that the check runs on connection to a "new" server. Logging out then back in to the same server (without restarting the client) won't trigger it. Join a different server or start a SP world in between to force it. Again, sucks for debugging, but isn't really a problem for enforcing things in MP as when someone joins, check will run and the result will stay until they go somewhere else, then the check runs again when they come back, so once it's all set up it isn't an issue
tim3067: That looks mostly like mine, slightly different graphics chip ( I think I may have one like that I can test with), though you are running a far older version of Java. Would be nice if you could install java 8 and try then. The OSX minecraft.app fails without java 6 installed, so at https://minecraft.net/download click "show all platforms" and download the "Minecraft for Linux / Other" launcher .jar. That runs fine on OSX (Windows too incidentally) and will allow you to run Minecraft with a java that isn't years out of date. Even if that doesn't fix your water, it's not a bad idea. If that's the problem, it's obviously still a problem as most OSX users will be on java 6 but it would narrow things down for me
I don't know if this is in the right place. I have liteloader installed and Voxelmap works on my liteloader profile (YAY!)
But I am trying to run it on my forge profile with my thaumcraft.
From what I read they all should just work together, and they are all in the mod folder. I just don't know exactly how I am supposed to make this all work together. At this point I have my forge profile running my thaumcraft and baubles mods. And I have my liteloader profile running my voxelmap. How can I merge these things?
Thanks and please accept my apologies if this is in the wrong spot.
voxelmap .litemod file in mods folder, along with liteloader .jar. If you open the liteloader installer jar, inside it is something like liteloader-1.7.10.jar (depends on version of course). Put that in the mods folder and Forge should pick it up
Or run the Liteloader installer and tell it to extend from your forge install, then run the "liteloader 1.7.10 with forge 1175" profile (I guessed at the number)
really thank you for checking though. I'll do my best to replicate your situation as exactly as I can, and also see if I can figure out what is going on. I have an idea. I can replicate the effect, though that code path should never be called (and isn't for you with flowing water, or at all with anyone else) so I'm not sure how it is happening in your case. Or maybe it's something entirely different, it's pretty strange. Lemme know if it resolves with any newer Forge / Liteloader and I'll let you know if I figure something out. 1.8 man...
if I had to guess, some mod is adding another DynamicTexture to EntityRenderer, or doing something so EntityRenderer.lightmapTexture is not used, or is used in a different way. You gotta know that is not the ordinary behavior, so it would be helpful to me to know what you are running that might not be ordinary (what other mods etc, and if you are running some, see if you can narrow it down to one in particular that causes it, or if it indeed happens with no other mods loaded at all)
Can ANYONE PLEASEEEE make a working minimap mod for FORGE 1.8??!!! I really need one!!
Sorry for that, but I just think: why Liteloader? Everyone uses Forge!
Several reasons.
Also, you are aware that Forge and Liteloader play well together, right?
You can even get Liteloader as a .jar file and have Forge load it.
Also, manually placed water seems to do the same thing, and depth doesn't seem to make any difference.

Could it possibly be the fact that he's(or she's) using the fixed-direction mode and you have the dynamic mode?
Nevermind, saw that one of his/her screenshots is in dynamic. Did he/she try uninstalling and reinstalling forge and liteloader?Creator of Metroid Cubed 3, a Metroid-themed mod! Become a donator today!
