First a little bit of backstory, i started this mod trying to implement all of the DayZ PVE elements into minecraft. Than i got bored and started adding other stuff to the point where one title wouldn't really fit this mod.
Current topic: Moon Events - Buffs given to mobs because of the current moon phase
Now what it actually does, it implements some of my favorite features of other games into minecraft.
Heres a few:
Blood bag/type system
Getting wet from water
Getting poisoned more realistically than the potion effect
Im going to elaborate on these further below, but you might find it more fun to explore on your own.

Blood type/bag system:
Everyone spawns with one of the 8 human blood types (O,A,B,AB as well as +/-) your blood can be extracted from you and given to someone else to heal them (8 hearts), but giving them the wrong type is very likely to kill them
Wetness from water:
Whenever your in/on something that contains H2O you slowly gain wetness. Get too much and you get sick, lowering your resistance and slowing you down. Being very wet advances the sickness to hurt (but not kill) you. This also affects mobs, but it does kill them.
More realistic poison (Evil cakes/cacti):
This kind of poison puts a timer on your life. Instead of normal poison which does DoT this adds a timer. When the timer hits 0 the kind of poison and your resistance determine if you will live. Cave spider poison have a 100% mortality rate, while normal spiders have about a 30% mortality rate. This can be cured by anti-venom. If you find a cake while exploring, eat it see what happens. Some cacti are poisonous inflicting you with 100% lethal venom (mobs with ~15 min of wither). There are also "Envenomed" swords which inflict 100% lethal venom through PvP.
These dont really have a use they're just... there. You can obtain them by killing mobs or by crafting bitcoin miners which occasionally spit out bitcoins.
Pretty simple really, get too hot you die, get to cold you die. Get too hot you'll start to sweat, which gives some time to react. A simple gauge is there to help with your temperature, it goes from Freezing->Cold->Cool->Warm->Hot.
you start dying at Freezing/Hot.
Things that increase temperature:
Being in a warmer biome
Being close to the ground
Having a fever (from venom)
Being closer to the sky
Things that make you cooler:
Being higher up (Altitude)
Getting away from sunlight
Moon events are events that happen during moon phases. Currently this is as far as i have gotten. Right now it only affects zombies and skeletons. 3 of the 8 moon phases have events, the full moon and the 2 following. On full moons zombies will carry "Envenomed" swords and inflict 100% lethal poison when your hit. These swords have a 100% drop rate but are very fragile. During waning gibbous zombies are MUCH harder to kill as they will respawn on the spot(Needs re-balancing). However the new zombie is weaker than the one before it and the chain will eventually break. During the last quarter skeletons will spawn with diamond armor on with regularity.
Fixed servers not working
Fixed Anti-Venom crashing game
Fixed resistance not increasing after surviving venom
Added a new venom type
Added a new spider to inflict said venom
Steel, for tools/armor
