i havne't been able to find in the original post how much durability each chisel has. I'm probably going to end up attaching timeless ivy to all of them anyway, but it'd be nice to have the numbers.

Is it possible to add textures from resource packs to a texture and to add textures to modded blocks? and also to add textures from mods to vanilla/mod textures? I couldn't see any info on this post and there doesn't seem to be a lot in the comments

Well, apparently the Obsidian one has half the durability of the Diamond one.

For anyone that uses Optifine (HD_C1 Ultimate for 1.7.10) with Chisel 2, does anyone know how to stop the issue with connected textures being invisible? I own a modpack and because of the size of it, I need as many performance boosting mods as possible... so cutting Optifine isn't really an option..
There is a option to disable all groups and variations? (Disable the pre-configured groups and variations not the item).
Or there is a list of all name groups so i can use minetweaker to remove them?
This because i tried to create new copper block group with minetweaker and added to this new group a lot of copper block variations from mod without chisel-integration. But when i tried to chisel a copper block (thermal foundation) i was able to use only the pre-configured variations and not my new variations. (in fact in the nei there was 2 different chisel recipe....but Chisel2 prefer to use the pre-configure variations and not mine)
Ideally you'd either add your new variations to the existing group, or you'd remove the pre-existing group.
I would suggest (if it hasn't been done so already, that a new thread be started, and this one closed.

Also, there is an alternate redstone lamp texture implemented in chisel 2, but it doesn't show during gameplay. Do you know why is this happening?

Ah, you can use the "/mt chiselGroups" command to make MT dump them into its log
