This mod was originally created by AUTOMATIC_MAIDEN. Then maintained by Pokefenn. Now it is my turn to carry the torch. I love the mod so much I could not let it die
Chisel adds a huge variety of static blocks to the game. This mod will be very useful for people who like the construction aspect of Minecraft.
Description:
Access to new blocks is provided mostly through one tool: chisel.
The chisel is created with a iron ingot and a stick in a diagonal pattern.
Right clicking causes the chisel GUI to load.
Place a block in the middle and you may turn it in to other blocks of the same type.
Chisel also adds two new other items, the Ball O' Moss, and the Cloud In a Bottle.
Right clicking these items will throw them, in the same way as how snowballs are thrown.
On impact these blocks will do a variety of different things.
The Ball O' Moss will mossify all the nearby blocks, for example, turning Stone Brick into Mossy Stone Brick, and the same with Cobblestone.
The Cloud in the Bottle with create a large amount of clouds on impact.
Smashing rock will decay the blocks it hits in a splash area of affect
AUTOMATIC_MAIDEN: The original author, Pokefenn the maintainer for 1.7.10
Asie: Porting the mod to 1.7.2
All the people who helped with code, or donated textures
I can't wait for other block compatibility, like Copper Chisel blocks and stuff.

how's the left-click bug with the chisel? has it been fixed?with older version, if you had a block selected with the chisel, and if you'd click left-click the chisel on another block of the same type the chisel would change that block to your selected type, but you had the problem that the blocks could become invisible and would require a world reload before they'd show up again
I was wondering if this has been fixed already.
and perhaps you could create an upgraded version of the chisel that would act similar to the builders wand from Extra Utilities, placing down multiple blocks of the same type at once...
Can't I just message you here with them? I can't go on Espurrnet right now.

Painterly already has a lot of really nice textures for mod-added blocks such as copper. I think that you could add support for any oreDictionary name of blockCopper to be chiseled into them, and other metals too.
I plan on giving the community everything they want out of this.
Careful with that statement. You don't want to fall victim to scope creep.
But I do request that you reorganize the creative tabs. Currently there is stuff mixed into the vanilla tabs and I feel that all mod things, regardless of what they are, should not be mixed with the vanilla tabs.

In the absence of AUTOMATIC_MAIDEN, I am maintaining chisel.
Chisel is licensed under GPL2.
Chisel is free to use in any modpacks, without permission.
Would be nice if you told me though, to keep track of it, but its not required

You're very nice for doing that! Can I help with some textures?
