yShaders - Shaders for Macs and computers with Intel Graphics! [DISCONTINUED]
Poll: Out of five, how would you rate yShaders?
Ended May 2, 2015
I'm sorry that the shaderpack did not meet your expectations. While this shaderpack may be resource intensive, it is still leaps and bounds ahead of other "no lag" shaderpacks in terms of performance. It is also the most compatible with Macs. I can get 70+ FPS on the lowest edition with many settings turned to high on my MacBook. In my opinion, yShaders is the fastest running shaderpack of all, despite the performance being not quite optimal.
As for your recommendation that I change by banner in my signature, yShaders still runs the fastest of any other shaderpack on Macs, even if it doesn't run very well on yours.
P.S. You should never allocate more than 512MB to Minecraft, unless it is heavily modded. Giving it more RAM can actually slow it down.
Probably not, but you can give it a try.
Thanks!

this looks like what i need because i have a trash laptop
I made a Feed The Beast modpack! Simply type "Experiment812390" without quotes into the 3rD party codes area and you can see the mods list and install!

I'm guessing he probably means disk space. Either that, or he's playing Minecraft on a server array. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
RAM: 4.00 GB (3.89 GB Usable)

You can use yShaders with any amount of RAM, as RAM does not impact performance. However, your CPU and GPU will affect performance while using yShaders. If you could post that, as well as other specs, that would be great
Now, after some driver updates MC runs astoundly swift at 60 - 90 FPS on tweaked medium. Just to finally discover how does clean, realistic water and illumination effects looked like, I tried this shaders. You sir, deserve my congratulations.
My humble - no, my pathetic - Celeron 1007U with HD 2500 managed to pull this off at unstable 30 FPS. I suppose that's not actually what anybody expected, hm? Anyway, I was amazed. Minecraft looks overhauled now. I just pulled off a test though, playing beautiful Minecraft as a slideshow is not my business. I tried ultra, and good God, THAT is the definition of beauty. I never, ever, though Minecraft could surprise me graphically. Imagine that with 512x512 HD resourcepacks, a realistic world generation and functional liquid physics... no one would ever bash Minecraft again.
Thank you for this experience, m'sir (is that even a word)? It ran just fine, beautiful, like I'd never expect. Ultra looks outwordly. Heavy as hell though. Well, back to vanilla crapcraft (that's how I'm calling it now. Yeah). Maybe in the future I'll just shaders with 100 FPS. Maybe.

I honestly can't tell how your computer would handle yShaders. Probably playable on the low-med versions, but I can't tell for sure. There's only one way to find out!

in the download it contains all versions in a zip file
PS: i love these shaders even more than more powerhungry shaders because they aren't as annoying as the other shaders

Curse PremiumThen, everything within a certain range seems to be covered in shadows.
EDIT: Added a screenshot
I'm on a MacBook Pro Early 2013 Model, with the default Intel HD Drivers.
Thanks in advance for any help.
I actually have this exact same problem, and the exact same computer. The shadow seems to be an issue with the shaders mod core, so unfortunately I can't fix it. Sorry.
