How would this function with TreeOres? Well, it requires the tree to first produce flowers/fruit rather than drop saplings This does come in handy for controlling the power of the mod, fruit could be converted into saplings quite easily once they have been picked. Next, the fruit/flower blocks would need to periodically check neighbouring blocks with the world.getblock function which would look for other flowers/fruit in the area. Then with a random chance, the fruit/flower would swap itself with a hybrid version. This would then allow for duo-typed TreeOres such as Golden Iron trees or Glowing Redstone for example. Finally you would need to add a way to get both the ores from the duo-ore logs. This would simply be done like this:

Place duo-ore log into tree station.
Output is one of the ores.
A normal log, which is the remaining ore type, is put into the inventory.

As an example, a Golden Iron log is placed into the treestation. The output is a gold ingot and an iron log is put into the inventory. This is basically the same mechanic that allows the Transporters to be reused.

What is the benefit of hybrid TreeOres? Well, it doubles your production output without requiring an even larger tree farm. Plus its kind of fun to play mad scientist... err.. botanist

At 10 species of tree, with combinations of 2 in any combination without repeats (ie. gold + iron and iron + gold produces golden iron) you still have 45 new types of tree to develop. That said however, for advertising the mod you do get to boast about TreeOres including 55 types of tree!

I planted a quartz tree, I attempt to harvest more saplings from the quartz tree but end up having iron saplings that dont stack with the iron saplings that I get from iron trees. and the glitched iron saplings turn into regular oak trees when I plant them.

I tried 2 attempts of getting saplings from glowstone trees but got nothing, but yet I get atleast 1 from the other trees

I planted an obsidian tree and got emerald saplings instead of more obsidian saplings



is that just me? because I know Im planting the right trees, the other saplings work fine but not the nether and the obsidian trees. the materials u get from the trees but the saplings don't seem normal
