I have no idea. As I said in my previous post, I need to see your logs/fml-latest.log. Without that, best I can do is wait until I've updated the config set to support Lycanite and Primitivemods (in progress, but it's going to be awhile yet).
Do you have any mods that are adding more biomes? Bhell is not a biome in the configs.
I dont have biomes o plenty , yes in the chat it said how many mobs got killed, yeah i set all mobs to false in MoC, i put the configs on the just another spawner config folder

Doesn't matter what the press says. Doesn't matter what the politicians or the mobs say. Doesn't matter if the whole country decides that something wrong is something right. This nation was founded on one principle above all else: the requirement that we stand up for what we believe, no matter the odds or the consequences. When the mob and the press and the whole world tell you to move, your job is to plant yourself like a tree beside the river of truth, and tell the whole world — "No, you move
Okay So Iv'e edited the Default JAS config for the following mods/groups
-Lycanite
-Vanilla
-Natura
-MoC
I've kinda simplified it so that the Weighted chance of mobs is always 1-10 instead of the normal 1-100.
and so far I'm liking the results (except for no MoC hostiles, No MoC Watercreatures, and only snakes, ostriches, and sometimes elephants, but very rarely.)
Do you have any idea why MoC mobs arent spawning as frequently as Lycanite or Vanilla?
Edit: I used the command /jas canspawnhere MoCreatures.(MobName)
So My question now is does every Hostile/water creature/Creature MoC Mob need a specific tag in order to spawn?
Did you disable mob spawning in the lycanites config?
Did you disable mob spawning in the lycanites config?
"global spawning" {
# If true, all mobs from this mod will not spawn at all.
B:"Disable Spawning"=true"
If you mean this than yeah
(I tried to temporarily remove lycanite thinking maybe lycanite may be spawning too much mobs and by the time MoC tries to spawn mobs it already hit the Spawn cap but I still didnt see any MoC Hostiles/Water Creatures)

It's as I suspected. You are indeed running off of JAS' default configs. Not mine. There is a section of the log where JAS creates it's spawn list and sorts all the biomes into the configured BiomeGroups. None of mine are there. They are all the default ones. Delete the JustAnotherSpawner folder from your config folder and extract mine from the CorConfig zip file in its place.

Okay I'm using Your Config (again) And I still dont see any MoC Mobs except for Snakes and Ambient Insects
Confirmed. I can see that. This is very weird. It was just snakes and bugs with the default JAS configs too, correct? It's almost like there's another spawner completely overriding JAS. Bugs are actually set very low, since their AI is very...buggy (couldn't resist). That number should be well over 200.
I don't know how to help you at this point. You have a number of mods I have no experience with. Could one of those have a spawning system conflicting with JAS? Or maybe it's a bug with JAS. Maybe make a copy of your current minecraft folder, then remove everything from the mods folder except MoC and JAS. Then create a test world and see what pops up.
I cant find any MoC mobs. I run minecraft with ExtrabiomesXL and Mocreatures, and I installed your config correctly, yet the only mobs that spawn are crabs :\ .
I've tried tweaking some of the weights/settings to disable some mods (I'm going with a pure tech pack so I'd like to remove some mythic creatures like ents) but I've been having issues. What is the correct method to keep an entity from spawning??
Hey I was using this to get Mo Creatures to work properly along with a few other mods (Lycanite's Mobs is one of them) and with this arctic mobs spawn on beaches. Does anyone know how to fix this?
The mod along with these configs do help with a number of issues that Custom Mob Spawner was causing, but they also create a host of other problems. I hardly see creatures/mobs I would normally see with CMS, such as birds, moles, ents, scorpions (I only saw 1 in any of the worlds I created, and it was in a dark area that was not even a desert), etc. I'm tempted to mess with the configs myself but the whole formatting is incredibly confusing. I'm just not seeing much of anything spawn, and when I do it's incredibly rare. While squids spawning in non-ocean biomes is fixed, the other water creatures spawn in lakes and rivers.
EDIT: Maybe I miscalculated on something. It appears simply waiting around longer allows more mobs to spawn, rather than constantly generating new chunks. Still, there seems to be somewhat of a lack of spawning. I'll have to give it more time and see.

What mods are you using? I can send you my config through Private Messages if you're using the same mods as me.
I've been working on it for a whole week and half, It's still messing spawn tags for quicksand (so mobs don't spawn near or in it) and Magnum Torches compatibility but it's probably better than what you can find here ( meaning no offense here, just my config is more up-to-date! )

Ran into the "out of control" mob spawning issue in our current modpack. If you explore at night you'll actually generate enough mobs to almost bring the professionally hosted server to a grinding halt. Hopefully this will fix it, I'll let ya know.

If you set the maximum spawns for each Entity-type you should be fine!
Make sure you turn Off the spawning from the other mods config so they don't conflict!

This is great stuff! Saves me A LOT of time. Can't wait to see any improvements you make. Thanks very much!

Is there any way to add mod biomes for mo creatures spawns?
Thank you so much for this, Now I can understand the damn config and tweak it as I want too.
