One Time Proximity Spawners - these occur in labyrinths. When the player is X blocks away, they will spawn a mob(s) and then remove itself.
Updated the chest/well/ship/wither tree/hermit/labyrinth generator system, giving the ability to control the probability a lot better.
The minChunksPerX property controls how many chuncks are generated before a chests etc are generated. The xxxGenProbability determines the likleyhood of the chests etc actually generating. If the chests etc does not meet the probability, then it will be another minChunksPerX until the chest will attempt to generate again.
Re-balanced the chests etc. generation properties (see above).
Added some language support: French, Italian, Brazilian, Turkish.

The SGS Treasure! mod adds some adventure to vanilla Minecraft. Various different types of treasure chests are randomly buried throughout the Minecraft world. The chests require different types of keys to open them. The more rare the chest, the better the loot. You can locate an area where a treasure chest is buried by finding and digging under a graveyard or other new surface markers. Be warned, some chests may be buried in underground dungeons, guarded by unfriendly mobs. There also are treasure chests in caves, dungeons, sunken ships and under Wither Trees, or other randomly generated structures. As well, there are rare Wishing Wells placed throughout the realm which you can use discovered gold and silver coins on.
Will you be the first one to discover Blockbeard's treasure!
Requires Forge to run.
Delete old versions of Treasure!
Delete old sgs_treasure.cfg from %appdata%/.minecraft/config
Unzip the .zip file in your %appdata%/.minecraft/mods directory. Your directory structure should look like this:
** Note: if you have sub-directories under your mods directory, sgs_treasure! needs to go in the parent mods directory. Otherwise files will not be found and errors and a bad experience will occur.
Version 3.0: sometimes small sections of labyrinths don't generate for no discernable reason.
Version 2.4 has issues with any mod that cycles through all biomes (usually to register a mob with the biomes). Version 2.5 BETA fixes this problem.
In the sunken ship when I open the skeleton chests I am finding no items in it. I figured I'd let you know since it may be a bug.
Crud. Thanks for letting me know. Did this happen more than once? I tested it and can't replicate the bug. Is there any sequence you remember doing? Ex. Unlocking chest, open, save and quit, reload and items are gone, or you didn't have the key so you broke the chest, took it home until you found a key, then opened?
I found one of these chests but when i fit the right key in it the game crashes and i only have this mod installed, anyone knows what I have done wrong? Very thankful for an answer because mods like this are awesome and I really want this one to work.
Turns out it was just a version conflict.
This mod is for Minecraft version 1.7.2 only so far.
Ive also had a problem with the dread pirates chest (Skeleton chest). All the other chests work fine but when i finally find a skeleton chest and open it. it has nothing in it. The first chest i tried, i had broken it first before opening it. But i opened another two (Didnt break them first) and had the same problem. Dont really know whats going on :/
-Skull and Crossbones Block - added 5% chance to drop Skull head, and 5% chance to drop bones. (since 1.7.2/ 1.7.10 - skeleton heads unattainable)
-Pirate and Dread Pirate chests - added % chance to drop mob heads.
-Fixed: when breaking chests, they do not unlock any longer. That kinda defeated the purpose of keys. So even if they blow up, they shouldn't lose their items, but you'll probably die.
-Fixed: gravestones and bones should no longer be placed on top of each other or on treasure chests or inside of trees.
-Fixed issue with Dread Pirate chests having no items when the books.json file was not found. This is because the mod wasn't unzipped.
-Fixed issue with too many wishing wells generating after the first one is generated.
-Changed the Skeleton Key texture -Added Plans 1.0 dynamic structure generation API. Moves from hard-coded structures to json file driven structures.
-Added 2 new chamber plans
-Added 1 new wishing well plans
-Finished journals for Blockbeard, Captain Steve Stackham, Captain Edder Mann, Herobrine.
Do we just drag the .jar file in and the folder full of .json files into our mod folder?
By the way, love the mod!
If you're dragging the files out of the zip, just select everything (which should be Treasure-1.7.10-1.2.jar file and sgs_treasure folder) and just drop them into your ../.minecraft/mods folder. Don't go into the sgs_treseasure folder and drag the .json out separately.
I've added some tools that I used to create Treasure! so that you can easily create your own custom structures (ships, chambers and wells.) See the original post. after the Recipes or you can go to the Plans page.
