Reliquary adds an assortment of magical items to Minecraft. There's too many to name outright, but here's some major ones:
A staff that stores torches in itself, to save space, and can place them over long distances.
A medallion that stores experience for you like a bank.
A potion that spares you from death (and shatters) if you die with one in your inventory.
Various items that absorb damage in exchange for hunger.
A lantern that automatically places torches where the light dips below safe levels.
An.. eyeball.. that extinguishes flames and reflects the various fireballs Nether enemies hurl at you.
A coin that teleports items and experience to you over greater distances than normal.
Crystals that store a specific kind of block or item (infinitely), like portable barrels.

I use 1.7.10 (Modded), so when I comment that I like a 1.8 mod, I will comment to downgrade to 1.7.10. I support no pics, no clicks. Suggestions that I think that are the best deserves a banner!
It is almost time to say goodbye to 1.7.10 because of the recent surge of big 1.9 mods.
Why MCreator sucks: jcm2606's file (doesn't open a new tab) He allows/welcomes anyone to link the file, so I put it here in my signature for people to know how MCreator functions. I thank jcm2606 (he's awesome) for creating the document/file and I'm just here to spread the word.

Quick question. Trying to add blocks from mods to the mundane block list in the config without much luck. Isong 1.2.257.
The blocks I'm trying to add are the Artifice world generated stones (Like limestone and such), red rock from EBXL, as well as the generated stones from chisel 2. Since not having them severely reduces the effectiveness of the catalyst I tried to add them in. Here's what I added to the config:
uhm is there anyway you could update the configs for this mod? like in other mods the configs will usually say what a certain thing does so you know what will happen when you change it along with what the default is and if there are any limits to the range you can set it as! im only asking because id like to alter the configs but im worried ill mess them up because i dont know what each setting does also since it doesnt say what the default is so id be unable to change it back! also you might want to make an in game book you can either make or spawn with that gives details on what each item in the mod does! kind of like the books in the openblocks mod or tinkers construct
Decided to finally give the potion system a try, and followed everything that was said on this post. However, when clicking on the bubbling apothecary with "condensed potions", which are what I assume to be renamed empty vials (they have that same 5 glass pane recipe after all), nothing at all happens. Shift+right clicking seems to give me condensed potions that don't stack with the ones I already have, and glitch out if I try to stack them up anually until I drop them on the ground and pick them back up, in this case they go back to stacking.
Was running the most recent XReliquary build on Forge #1408 when I first tested, but things still seem to behave like this on #1445.
i deleted libsandstone file from 1.7.10 but it keeps coming back and i still get a error

I'm having the same issue, it's not working for me either.
Hey reynold, i found a fix. At the end, after brewing and dusts are added, you need to right click a nethewart to the cauldron, then you can bottle the potion
Perfect mod. Good, balanced and original (as far as I know), fits vanilla but also modpacks. You and your mod deserve more popularity.
Agreed. This is why I hope someone picks the mod up (no idea if TheMike still us working on this) since Xenophobe has dropped it again due to lack of time.

I don't think he is, hence why X3n0 released the latest beta on curseforge and told anyone they can pick up the torch.

That's what I thought, but I figured I'd bring it up just in case.
And looking at your quote of me, I realize just how much I hate my phone's autocorrect since even commonly used words will get replaced for no reason...
...why is there nothing in the OP about what Minecraft version the mod is for? I was hoping to find out if it's been updated to 1.8 yet, but I can't tell lol XD

Because the tags tell you instead?
Also, don't expect an update any time soon. Xeno has dropped the mod again and no one has picked it up.

The Lantern of Paranoia draws torches directly from your inventory OR from your Sojourner's Staff. It does not have its own inventory of torches.
The Ice Magus Rod and the Harvest Rod (as well as many of the other items from Reliquary that use "ammo", excluding the actual handgun) have functionality to automatically "absorb" the items they use as ammunition. Hold shift and rightclick to turn on this function. The Ice Magus Rod and Harvest Rod absorb snowballs and bonemeal, respectively. This is also how the Sojourner's Staff absorbs torches. You can tell when a tool is actively absorbing its ammunition because it will have a purple shimmer, exactly like an ordinary minecraft enchanted tool.
Almost every item from Reliquary has a tooltip that documents its function. Hold shift and mouse over the item to read the tooltips.
I've been trying to fiddle with the numbers to hyper-nerf and hyper-buffing the lilypads.. but I can't seem to get the huge changes I'd expect :/
Is there a way to repair the serpent staff or is it so powerful that repairing makes it broken?
I was under the impression that Storm Shot made it rain when you shoot the sky, but it does not seem to work. Am I crazy or is that no longer a feature?

I imagine I've not done this correctly. What would I change to make this work?

So, How do I duplicate the NETHER STARS with the tome of alkahest?
aka, explain the nether star part in here: https://github.com/TrainerGuy22/Reliquary/blob/master/src/main/java/xreliquary/util/alkahestry/Alkahestry.java
using the 1.2 ver due the resonant rise 3 and server.
Also lantern of paronoia doesn't use and suck torches unless theres a soujerner staff that has torches in it. Is it a bug or intended?

I'm having the same issue, it's not working for me either.
Hey reynold, i found a fix. At the end, after brewing and dusts are added, you need to right click a nethewart to the cauldron, then you can bottle the potion

Xeno has dropped the mod again and no one has picked it up.
how do i load the lantern of paranoia or the rod i can not figure out how to use these things
Hold shift and mouse over the item to read the tooltips.
is there anyway to get the sojourner staff to work with tinkers stone torches?
Come check out my pack and tell me what you think.
