With this mod you can change your ingame username.
obviously this does not work in online mode servers

Changelog for v1.6:

Moved the button to Multiplayer screen

How to use(Jar mod):

First download the installer then open it and click on accept to install it

Now launch your minecraft with the mod

click the new button

You will see a text box here you can put another username(max 30 chars)

click the button called Change Nickname then done

For forge just install it like any other mod in the mods folder

I'm assuming this is only client side and is not compatible with multiplayer.

Eh, it seems like a neat mod, but if I could change this mod, I would recommend putting the actual username on the top, and the nickname below it.

yes this is only client mod because only chage your username

This 'mod' has been a feature in minecraft hacked clients for years now.



If you're going to use this mod, you might as well use a cracked launcher. It's basically the same.

I'm using 1.7.10 and it won't work. It won't show up under mod lists or have the lock button

lol nice, yes you can make a tutorial there no problem about that, about that soon mojang take that soon to very very very far away from today, like Dinnerbone that says he will update Bukkit and there no notice about any ETA or something, so i dont expect in this year that feature about changing names

Great mod! But if you can/if possible you should make it so you can change your name while you're playing the game so you don't have to exit your game to change it. You can make it so your name changes w/ an ingame command maybe like /changename "name you want". Other than that great mod! Love to mess around with people using this. Great Job.

Wonderful mod, all I recommend is that it is able to be put as a mod for a modded server, such as for a personal server.
