Curse Premium@Yorple: All of my mod are using the automatic ID assignment feature of Forge. The problem is that Forge only knows about auto-assigned IDs and cannot work around mods that do not auto-assign IDs.

Curse Premiumwill the bolt lightning image be updated so that it can be seen from 360 degrees? from certain angles it cannot be seen.
also will there be a way to be able to face it in different directions, instead of one way?
like

that way i can choose which way it is facing...
would be really cool.
Can you improve the textures? I think this is a good mod because I am able to charge my creeper minion Bomber without seriously hurting him.
{Bomber usually has 300-1000 health}

I updated to Minecraft 1.8.9 in this version and added a sweet new wand:
Wand of Illusions


This devious wand turns common blocks, such as dirt or grass or stone, into illusory versions that look real, but you can walk (or fall) right through them as if they were air.
Here you can see what happens if you turn the grass into illusory grass. Thankfully, the dirt underneath is real. Imagine what would happen if you covered a pit trap with illusory grass.

Curse PremiumThat's a bit more complicated than I was planning. I discovered in the Lootable Bodies mod that player ownership can get tricky.
I don't know if the mob AI knows that the illusory blocks aren't solid, but they should make for nice secret entrances on multiplayer servers.

Sounds cool, but one question - isnt the bridging wand a bit op since you are pretty much creating cobblestone out of thin air???
also how does the illusionary wand work (and are the illusionary grass/dirt moddled like air)?

Curse PremiumThe Wand of Illusions works like this: right-click on a block and if you hear a ding, then the block you right-clicked turned into an illusion. The illusory blocks are kind of like reeds or grass. You can see them and break them by bunching them, but you can move through them without being hindered.
Here's the full list of blocks that can be turned into illusions: bookshelf, brick, cobblestone, dirt, end stone, grass, hay block, water melon, netherrack, nether brick, wood planks, prismarine, pumpkin, sand, soul sand, stone, and stonebrick.
I don't think that free cobblestone can be overpowered in Minecraft. In most Minecraft games, your pockets are overflowing with cobblestone by the time you get your first emerald. Besides, mining the cobblestone takes just as long as mining stone which drops cobblestone.

It would be great if you could make a wand that uses the zombie flesh. Something that would summon one. Theres an abundance of that stuff. Or if it caused the food poisoning, or any damage to an enemy. Also I have the wands in multiplayer, however they don't do anything. One more wand idea. Is it possible to make a wand use the spider webs? For example you know in mine shafts that the webbing that hangs down slows you down. Can a wand be fashioned to throw out those webbings to slow or stick to other mobs? Say you're fighting a wither or trying to escape. It would be kind of nice to run between to objects and shoot webbing back to slow down your attacker. Also not to mention if your falling and can time it just right like you can a bucket of water.

Curse PremiumA web shooting wand is a cool idea.
I'm not sure why you'd want to summon zombies (and if you want to eat it without being poisoned, install Base Metals and wear a full suit of mithril armor for poison immunity).
This mod works in multiplayer same as in single player, so if your wands are not working in multiplayer then there is something wrong. Check your server log for errors.

I don't want to eat it lol, but it might be cool if a wand you could utilize the food poisoning aspect and use it in a wand. At least it would give a purpose to the flesh. I trade it for emeralds of course, or feed it to the dog. So I'll check my log and see. I really want to use it in multiplayer. This has by far been my favorite mod.
I don't have any mod pack just a few mods. I downloaded the golem mod and it crashed the game. Is there a mod pack with your wands, and the golems? Please let me know. I'd like to have the cake and eat it too, lol.

You could also try the KreezCraft modpack. Kreezxil keeps that one full of all the latest mods, including all of mine.
EDIT: note that the explorer's club modpack is for 1.8.0 and does not have my latest updates (no wand of illusions), but is quite stable and I have not encountered any bugs with it on my personal server.

I tried to load the explorer mod and kreezcraft. Both wouldn't load. I figured out what is going on. The only mods I can use have to be compatible with 1.8.9 all the ones I tried that had that in their mod loaded and worked perfectly. I've got howling moon, yours, and thaumcraft running together. Which BTW is an awesome combination. Your wands have saved me on multiple occasions. So thanks for all the help.

Curse PremiumYes, you need to match your Forge version with your mod versions. It sounds like you installed Forge for 1.8.9, which is only a few weeks old, so most 1.8 mods have not yet updated. Install Forge for MC 1.8.0 (and then set that version in the MC Launcher's profile editor) if you want to play the 1.8 modpacks.

I cannot craft the wizard or witches hats. Crafting the top hat works but nothing happens when i put the recipe ingredients in the crafting table for either the witch or wizard hat. I have checked the config file and I have it set to "allow_wizard_hat=true" I am using Mod Download for MC 1.8.0:[/b] CyanosWonderfulWands_1.8-1.7.2.jar. Anyone else having this issue? Anyone have a solution or suggestion?

Curse PremiumThere was a recipe change at some point, so I may have some out-of-date recipe images floating around the internet. The correct recipe is a ghast tear atop a pyramid of 4 wool blocks (the recipe used to use a diamond instead of ghast tear).
Also, the config file has options for using alternative recipes and another option to disable the wizard/witch hats completely. Check your config file to make sure those are not set.
EDIT: I just updated the image un the front page to reflect the correct recipe. Sorry I hadn't done that sooner.

Well, now I'm using four of your mods at once in my modpack and they're all grand. I already have Thaumcraft stuff, but your wand mod is worth it just for the wizard robes!
Speaking of which, the robes do look rather regal; is there any chance you could add crowns? There are bound to be people with this in their friends' modpacks who won't be interested in magical content. The only other crown I could find was in Custom NPCs, which is creative mode only (i.e. uncraftable).
Ideally, the recipe would be of a regular helmet, requiring a gold band (4 ingots) with a gem in the center (emerald, diamond or perhaps something from Metal Gem Craft or even your own Base Metals, which doesn't have gems but you could figure out something).
