No I made this pack in 1.6.4 originaly (The Winter Miner Pack) but then a friend gave me an idea for a pack called The Endless Winter Pack. It has like 10 mods more then Winter Miner, It has also some different mods. Most of the mods didn't update that were key mods for the pack thats why its in 1.6.4 but you never know in a month or two if there would be an update for most of them. So I'm too lazy to downgrade myself (I never did ask him too) I'm also busy with the pack, a few other serries, exams, three maps (I work on maps a lot) and even my own mod that I havnt touched in a week. So I'm just going to put this into my new lp thats 7.10 and if I update my pack, I'll add it.
Woo thats a mouth full. Sorry if what I said my be said to be rude its just how I talk normaly. Thnx for your time. Also again Love THIS MOD SO MUCH!!!
I love this mod but is there any version for 1.6.4.. please i love this mod!
Unfortunately, it would take a lot of work to port it into 1.6.4. A lot of stuff has changed since then, and, to be honest, I'd rather be working on my super spy bird-copters (top secret)!
Hello!, wanted to know if you are interested in any translation into Spanish of his mod ClothingCraft... I am willing to translate it to Spanish Spain - Argentina - Mexico. Greetings to you and I hope your answers. [/pre]
Please make hoodies, their my life! Either way could you make (in the future[after hoodies]) a baseball cap, buttonless shirts, short sleeve shirts, plad shirts, camo (like after hoodies), tuxes, and a separate tab that can be reached with a key (like galaticcraft) that let's you stack clothes. Oh and the ability to wear the torso things. Far in the future a sort of sowing machine that let's you sow your own clothes (for like emblems) that uses I guess white fabric and dyes. I know so much to ask but I mean as long term goals (except for hoodies). Thanks for creating an awesome mod! I will most likely create a mod showcase but I will use it in a personal group of mods (not really a pack). Keep up the good work :D!

Unfortunately, I do not have that good of an attention span when making mods and videogames XD. So I probably will move onto other mods soon.
This is a unique mod....and its really nice. Can you see if you can make a "catalogue" like on a computer where you order it and it arrives in a chest at your spawn?

Thanks. That would be cool to make, but I would rather focus on clothing than NPCs. I was working on a mod called BattleCraft full of knights and NPCs (see signature) but it is temporarily abandoned, but I'm sure I'll come back to it someday. I guess I'd add some kind of delivery service in there eventually.
Kitty, please hoodies. All I need for life in MC. With without zippers IDC, just hoodies. I might have something wrong with me, let me go check. In the mean time, hoodies.
also if you have spare time, can you make a video on how to mod and give me a link. I love what you have done and I would like to learn from a pro. Doin a good job.

Unfortunately, I seem to be losing interest in this project, but here is a screenshot of my WIP mod BattleCraft, which is a mod that may be somewhat like Mount and Blade:

Well, first of all, make sure you know Java - without it, you can't really make any of "your own" stuff - things that are unique and original. Tutorials only go that far. Then, you'll need to install your Forge workspace (assuming you have eclipse). ScratchForFun has made a good video on how to install your Minecraft Forge workspace . Keep in mind that installation is much different for different minecraft versions and that installing the workspace is a pain in the butt.
After that, I recommend that you follow tutorials from the other people. Havvy's tutorials on Minecraft Forge Wiki are a great thing, but don't follow the installation tutorial because that is outdated (if you are using 1.7.10).
Here are some important tips:
I tried modding before I learned Java. You will not make it far if you do not know Java.
There is only ONE instance for your blocks and items. So you can feel free to make all your item/block fields static since there will only ever be one instance of the item/block. That also means that if you change a variable in the item class, it will change for all the items in the world.
Since there is only one instance for items, you will need to use NBT for the items. NBT is a nifty little thing that you can use to store information in ItemStacks - the class that Minecraft uses to store some items in your inventory. ItemStacks have an item and a stack size, and stuff like that. For example, I use NBT to store the colors of clothing. Here is a nice tutorial on item NBT.
If you want to store NBT in blocks, you will need a tile entity.
There are multiple instances of entities.
Itemstacks' NBT will be, on default, shared with the client.
If you have an entity, the client will not know about its fields and data. You can tell the client about the data by using DataWatcher. Be warned - you can only store 31 objects on it and some are already used by default (like health and stuff).

Hey um I can't seem to make a hat I tried it with the colors you did and nothing worked... is that a bug??? I am in the 1.1.1 version btw

Added it to the main post. Nice video.

2nd: Could you add a jacket, tie, and bowtie? Could help for formal occasions.
1. It is already for 1.7.10, and Forge does not have a version for 1.8 yet, so I can't make it for 1.8.
2. Perhaps.

This isn't not compatible with Smart Moving? Are you using any other mods?

Options for raincoats would be neat too.
That would be a nice clothing to add.
That's weird. Can you post a screenshot? Are you using any other mods?

Smart moving might be messing it up, because it can change how players get rendered. Try it without Smart Moving and see if it works.
