Chiseled stone will be useful in the future. I'm currently working on animals.
(will be used to make mill stone. The animal-powered mill stone)
Well, that's what I'd like to read. I mean there are so many mods which have many kind of blocks and stuffs what aren't used. That's frustrating for me when I'm working on a modpack. I have some ways to make unique blocks (Chisel 2, Carpenters' Blocks, Minepainter), and I don't need another one. For hungry animals I need hungry animals. But because I have no way for grinding wheat, this is a good news.
Do you think that you'll make this grindstone compatible for example RF system? Here is my thoughts: My pack is mostly based on AgriCraft, Ancient Warfare, Hunger and Nature Overhaul, and some other mods, and AW has water and windmill system which could use to generate RF power as I know. In my pack you can't use hi-tech things, but grinding wheat is a neat idea.
I know TFC made this survival thing, but I need more flexible base for other "themed hard Minecraft experience"
Soooo if your grinder would be powered by RF or Ancient Warfare engines as they are, I'd like that.
Hello, uhm first i want to say i love this mod, im currently paying on a harvest moon map and this just goes so perfectly with it, although there is a problem.I think it may be a compatibility problem but i really have no clue. Basically it just keep freezing on the screen loading terrain it never loads i cant give a crash report because it doesn't even crash it just forever loads, however not all the time.
See i'm thinking its possiblyy a conflict with the better breeding mod? which if it is, its goin got be really hard to chose what mod im supposed to use because i want both of them they are just perfect for my harvest moon theme :|
I was already laying with better breeding mod before getting this it works just fine, and then i get this mod, everything seems fine until i realise my better breeding had actuallly been deleted (don't remember deleting it, but must have i guess? ) so i got it back and then thats when iget the loading terrain issue. this mod runs fine without that, and that runs fine withut this, but then i wasn't sure if it was compatibility because there is no crash it just doesn't load and i only get this problem it seems, when i ahve both of them loaded.
IF it is compatibility issue ( which as i say, i really have no clue, i dont know anything about anything code wise or whatever lol) then is there any chance at all you might be able to make them compatible? thast an if i dont even know, i just know they both do the perfect things i want for my theme and it seems i cant have them together, the problem could be something else but i spent like an hour taking things off and on and everything is fine except when these 2 are loaded.
Hereisa link to the better breeding mod just for your information so you know to which mod i am referring to:
sorry for any inconveniance nd hope to hear back to you soon so i can start playing again :|
Without infinity terrain loading problem, two mods' modification can't be applied to animals at the same time. I didn't check the code of 'better breeding mod' but I'm sure that making these two mods compatible is very difficult.
Sorry, I can't solve compatibility problem with that mod. In really, I should re-code every single line of my mod.
I'm planning to add gender with gene system... but this will take very very long time.
I'm working on 1.0.4.2, and the alpha002 version has developed. Entirely new approach is applied to this mod. This will make the mod hungry animals compatible with hundreds of other mods. This doesn't mean animals in twilight forest or mo' creatures are affected by this mod. Other mods that overhauls vanilla animals can be used at the same time.

Sorry, I missed your post. I will make mill stone powered by animal. Cows will walk around with gears and run the grinder. Animals are great food-to-energy converter.
Compatibility with RF,... I'm not sure now.
Can you make your animals to drop some bones?
And with Realistic World Generator, there are some cacti on a plain, where the animals simply run to them and die. Can you make them smarter, trying to avoid falling, cacti, and suicide as it is?

1) I'm planning to add custom drop configuration for animals.
2) Animals are basically avoid falling. I will consider about cacti.
Thank you for your report.
This mod looks awesome. Have you considered adding weather effects? For example, animals left out in the rain, or high heat, with no shelter, can get sick and die?

I've done some experimentation with this and have found... a thing.
Near as I can tell, Hungry Animals eat whenever they are the slightest bit hungry. This is a problem as I watched a pig devour 64 carrots in the space of just a couple minutes. Mind you, it seemed to be coming out the other end at a ridiculous rate.
Because of the way the error seems to present itself, no amount of changing the settings is going to fix it from what I can see.
Is anyone else having the animals dying off regardless of how much food they have available simply because they eat it all... Right now?

If you have other mods that add sulfur ( ex, railcraft. )

Here ya go:
Hope you like it, I''d love to see it on the post =)
Thanks so much for the epic mod! Have a fancytastic day!
What I'd really like is a clear breakdown of what each configuration does. I'm a little fuzzy on how the Excretion Constant/Hunger Rate works.
What I understand is this:
with a Hunger Rate of .002, an animals hunger will decline by 1 every 500 ticks, or 25 seconds.
with a Max Hunger of 150.0, this means animals will starve to death without food after 62.5 minutes.
Where I get lost:
with a Excretion Constant of .02, and a hunger constant of .002, how often will an animal produce excrement?
I presume Courtship Probability is per tick, so .0025% of a chance per tick?
Is the Hunger List 1 to 1?
So if Food List is:
Wheat, Carrot, Potato
and Hunger List is:
[10.0], [15.0], [20.0]
Then Wheat fills 10 hunger, Carrot fills 15, Potato 20?
What if Food List Is:
Wheat, Carrot, Potato, Apple
And Hunger List is:
[10.0], [15.0], [20.0]
How much does Apple Restore?
