In game is all OK, but after exit there is no save with elevator's setting. After next loading game I must set lifts again. File "thuttech.cfg" is empty (during playing and out-off-game too).
Where is information with elevator's setting stored?
it should be stored in the nbt data for the elevator and the controller block, there isn't anything in the config atm, so it should be empty. It worked fine for me after log in and out in that world that you sent, after I fixed the issue from walking too far away, can you send a world where it doesn't save after logout?

This looks great, but I can't get it to work properly. The elevator pad gets created successfully, and when I click on it and then the controller block with the black remote-looking thing (can't recall what it's called) both give what I assume are messages that mean they're set correctly (elevator set & floor set as whatever number), but no numbers appear on the controller block, nothing happens when I right click on where I guess the numbers should be to try and use the elevator (after setting up units on multiple floors, of course), and whenever I stand on the elevator pad after it's created everything appears to be vibrating. I'm using the latest version for 1.8 with several other mods, so it might be a weird interaction between one of the other mods and yours. There isn't a crash log to show you since the game doesn't actually crash, but I can post the regular logs from MultiMC or a list of the other mods I'm running if it'd help.
right clicking the control block with the remote should make the numbers show up, if that doesn't work, try using a stick. I have no idea why it would be vibrating, send one of the logs, and I will see if it has anything useful in it.

Oops, I thought it was shift-right click to set the floor number & make the numbers appear. As I said, it did say the floor # had been set when I did this, but no #s appeared. I'll try without shift & see if that works. If it doesn't I'll post the relevant time period of the log. Also, forgot to mention that when I used a stick to dismantle the 3 setups I'd made one of the controller blocks dropped as an elevator block instead.
So, today I tested for MC 1.8, launcher 1.6.48, Forge 1577:
thutcore-2.1.3.jar
thuttech-2.1.6.jar
with OptiFine_1.8.0_HD_U_G7.jar
with LiteLoader (and many mods)
with many Forge mods
with own resource pack
and it seems, now is all OK
But only in new creative world.
list of Forge mods:
Treecapitator
Archtecture Craft Mod
Caterpillar
Decoration Mega Pack
Lapis Pack
Lattice Mod
Road Blocks
Smelt Cycle
Wireless redstone
Zombie Steak
list of LiteLoader mods:
Gammabright
Armor Compare Mod
Armors HUD
Autofish
Da Flight
Chunk Borders
Pop Enchant Tag
Voxel Map
In my normal survival world (many hours of building) there are previously issues (lost settings of lift). With thuttech-2.1.6.jar & thuttech-2.1.7.jar too.

edit: tested once more and now is alright in my survival world, with thuttech-2.1.7. It's strage for me...

the 1.8.8 stuff is just a direct re-compile, nothing really changed between the 1.8 version and the 1.8.8 version, besides the back-end code needed to make it work (1.8.8 had some rendering changes)

Updating ThutTech for 1.8.8/1.8.9 to allow different sizes of lifts to be made.
Lift blocks now have the following interface on the top when placed:
Right clicking the < and > will change the numbers on that row, and will add/remove green dots accordingly. The blocks under the green dots are the blocks that will be used for the lift. If there is no block there, it will not make a lift.

How about allowing the elevator controller block show a call button on one side, with the numbers on another. Like an actual elevator. The call button would simply call the elevator to that floor.

Thought I would give some feedback on the elevator mod. I love the concept and really wanted to use but it has some serious issues in 1.8.9. I wanted it bad enough to try several versions and cores. When you work on one and it gets locked to a specific player to problems start. It will not even allow the person that created it to make changes or to destroy (even in creative). I remove the mod which made the save unusable thereafter so I used MCEdit to try and remove the elevator entities (one was removed the others remained) which was unsuccessful. I looked in the config to try to remove locking the elevators to a single person but there wasn't one. Itseems like it doesn't even associate the person that built it properly since it tells me it belongs to me but I still can't do anything with it.
I am using Forge 1.8.9-11.15.1.1902, IC2, & BuildCraft for starters in case you built off a different version of Forge.
EDIT: I have figured it out! I had to use a stick to break the elevator to remove or reconfigure. I thought all was needed was the controller. I thought I needed the controller to disable the elevator so it could be removed/destroyed.
So I've seen that you have 1.7.10 version of this mod. But, I cant see a "core" mod for this version, the one you made for 1.8 version. Is it required for 1.7.10?
thanks, that has what I need to fix it. I should be able to upload a fix for 1.8 and 1.8.8 shortly
Edit: Both uploaded, should be approved on curse shortly.

First quick test, it seems all alright (I was 600 blocks out) .
There are two files, thuttech-2.1.7.jar and thuttech-2.1.8.jar, both indicated as mod for Forge 1.8.8. (file *2.1.7 is for MC 1.8 ;-) )
There is another problem, perhaps the last

@Thutmose:
In game is thuttech-2.1.7 for MC 1.8 shown as Thut's Tech 2.1.5 (in mods list)
Is this correct?
And here: http://www.curse.com/mc-mods/minecraft/224375-thuts-elevators#t1:other-downloads
is thuttech-2.1.7 for MC 1.8 marked as for MC 1.8.8
the name of the jar is the correct one, I must have forgotten to make the 1.8 version properly update itself.
