(I say 4 because I use it as a weapon with 10 damage, an descent axe for building, an a hoe for random farm repair, and I would make it 4 but I have to carry a shovel for gravel, also I rarely use it as a hoe, so its really beast as a weapon axe mix but oh wait an axe can already be a weapon, why not just sharpen an ax instead?)
TiC tools are basically made of NBT data. You can't use /give to give yourself much of anything and have it work. You have to select one of the pure material tools from creative/NEI/TMI interface or craft what you want.

I honestly do not know whether this is specifically related to Natura or Tinkers' Construct, nor whether it is a mod incompatibility, but I seem to be having some major issues with Villager-related trades. I assume it is related to Tinkers' Construct as I can't find information on whether Natura spawns anything in Villages or not (Or I could be blind/insane, in which case please halp).
When I right click to trade with a Tinkers' Villager, my game ends up crashing more often than not. The Trade screen itself actually pops up, but freezes almost immediately, followed by a crash. I'm relatively certain that it is Natura/Tinkers', as it only occurs with that Villager. The only mod that I find to possibly have a tangible effect on this would be MCA, but it seems to work with other mods that change Villagers, so I'm somewhat at a loss. I also recall having this issue in previous versions.

Dear modpack owner, is it possible if i create a tinkerers construct addon (TCA) that has to do with firearms? yknow old style firearms and explosives such as flintlocks, muskets, blunderbusses and the ability to modify the firearms with adding extra barrels for more shots (except for the blunderbuss)

Using the API to create addons requires using java to code a mod itself. You can't use a mod generation like mcreator.

Now that boni is holding both TiC and TiC tweaks, does anyone else think some TiC tweaks functionality should just be rolled into TiC itself? I'm thinking the tool part replacement/upgrading and recycling parts in the tool builder. TiC already supports remelting tool parts, why isn't that extended to nonmetal materials, and being able to upgrade your tool with new parts is just so convenient.
Hey have a question that I was hoping you could answer. We would like to have on our server for the players to keep there inventory on death but not keep XP or hunger status. We were using a grave stone mod but we have been doing a lot in a world with the void and gravestones don't help there. I noticed that in the TinkersConstruct.cfg there is
B:"Keep hunger on death"=false
B:"Keep levels on death"=false
But no matter what I do this does not seem to do anything. Anyone know how this works? Or worst case another way to do this?

So, I noticed that the latest update adds complete compatibility with Thermal Expansion, including smelting redstone into Destabilized Redstone. However, I have an issue. Whenever I put in a redstone dust or redstone block, it only cooks about halfway. (see picture) Any idea why anyone?

Tool leveling wouldn't make sense in TiC because it's contrary to the original intent of the mod. It would be like the author of mekanism deciding to balance it one day - people use that mod specifically to avoid balance constraints.
