You installed Optifine. That's your problem.

So is double jump not working in the new versions still?

Thats from Binnies mod most likely.
Do a quick google fore Binnie Mod and you should find it.

logically, when seared bricks are placed into smeltery, they should be melted back into liquid seared stone so i could use the excess bricks

Wow, boy oh boy that thing is crazy! That's the most nonsenseful MC weapon I've ever seen! (I already seen crazier weapons in Unreal Tournament) SO, if it is an weapon, then there is no offensive reason to place it. Suitable for pigmen, huh?

I recommend Fastcraft as a good alternative.

Also, the attitude comes from how Optifine's rendering tends to not only mess with, but completely overwrite how other mods present their objects a lot of the time, thus causing blocks to appear invisible, the wrong size, or many other issues; not to mention Optifine is closed source, meaning that any fixes to work with other mods is totally on their end. A lot of new users fail to realize that, though, and end up pestering the other modders to do something they honestly cannot do.

If this was an Optifine issue your game would crash on startup or during save load. That's when any rendering conflicts happen. Unless it's just some minor glitch.

And yes, Optifine makes large modifications of the rendering engine that may conflict with other mods, since other mods can't access Optifine code to make workarounds. But sp614x is usually pretty good at eventually fixing any truly glaring issues. As far as I can tell the current Optifine B4 for 1.7.10 does not cause any major mod conflicts.

There's now D1 for 1.7.10 actually, just pointing that out.

Noticed you capitalized Dungeon, you mean chests from a dungeon mod like Better Dungeons?

Yeah, and Titanium is an actual element, not an alloy. If it were to be added, it would have to have a durability between ardite and manyullyn, so as not to be entirely OP, but still be quite durable. Its lightness could negate the slower swing speed of the cleaver, making it easier to wield.

Hey Boni I love the obsidian brick that tinkers adds and have been using it a lot in my builds the only problem I have found with it is that a redstone signal does not go through it.

Mariculture adds titanium and if you have it in with TiCon, you can make titanium tinkers tools.

Necrotic modifier only heals when hitting stuff that is alive

Hey guys, noticed the Diary of a Tinker is either bugged or unfinished. I'm going to be using a book & quill to document each feature of the mod like a diary as I discover it. Once I get to the end, I'll put the book's Bibliocraft file up for everyone to take a look at/duplicate in Bibliocraft as much as they like. It won't be a way to figure out what to do, it just hints at that and gives an idea of the block/structure/modifier's function(s).
