Are we are forgetting how Minecraft Dimensions work right? 10 deep (eg. north to south), 3 tall, 3 wide (eg. west to east)...
I never said that it wouldn't work, just said I'd like to see it...

If I am talking about a 10x3x3 smeltery, I am talking about a smeltery that is 10 blocks tall.
If I am talking about a 3x3x10 smeltery, I am talking about a smeltery that is 10 blocks tall.
If I am talking about a 3x10x3 smeltery, I am talking about a smeltery that is ... 10 blocks tall.
Unless explicitly stated otherwise, the greatest dimension of a smeltery is its height.

In most cases, unless otherwise stated, people assume dimensions to be Width×Depth×Height, when talking about buildings and other objects whose position relative to the ground is known.
Ugh. Can't there be a mod with extra tools/weapons, which doesn't add a ton of new materials? I don't even know what to do with all the materials I already have. Can they be disabled at least?
Last I checked, Tinkers' Construct does not add a lot of materials at all anymore.
It just adds Cobalt and Ardite in the Nether.
Although it is compatible with a lot of metals from other mods.

It also adds Blue and Orange Slime, along with alloys: Pig Iron, Knightslime and Manyullyn (What is the etimology of that term?).
Suggestions:
New Death Animations. "Mr Amppl50, I don't feel so good" -fishg
Lead Ore
Wind revamp and hot air balloons.
I was talking about addons FOR Tinkers Construct. In this case, Tinker's Compendium. I'd like more tools, but I don't really need any more materials... Most of the mod-added ones are rather pointless IMO. In the end, you just have one material which is objectively the best for a head/handle/extra, and just keep using that anyway...
I'd like to know that, too. I'm going to speculate towards random button mashing
Why there are 2 recipes for the steel? Please remove one of them it's impossible doing a clean work
If there are recipes for steel with differing ratio's of input, then this is probably caused by a combination of other mods.
I have had trouble with combinations of, among others, Nuclearcraft, EnderIO and Base Metals before.

Hi everyone, Im playing with a modpack with both Advent of Ascencion and TiC. Is there anyway to make them compatible in Minecraft 1.12.2?
I return to the minecraft after years, and I have a doubt about the mod, before I found the prayers like copper, aluminum generated on the map, currently only with the mod tinker and mantle I can't find a ore of the new minerals, only the classic ones, Are they achieved in another way? set something up?
Tinkers' Construct 2 does not add Copper or Aluminium oregen.
The only ores it adds nowadays are Cobalt and Ardite in the Nether.
If other mods add Copper or Aluminium to the game, then Tinkers' Construct 2 does does support smelting, alloying and casting them, though.

I noticed in the recent ForgeCraft DireWolf20 has been playing that TiC is on 1.14.4 now, was wondering how I can get my hands on it? I know that it's not ready to be released but I'd like to try it out, see if I might find bugs to report...

Going to the Discord server linked in the OP of this thread and asking kindly if you could help beta-test the mod might get you that opportunity.

Im kinda new to tinkers and I was wondering if there were any mods that expand the quantity of things you can do with it. Like tin and copper that the 1.7.9 version has
do you play using the twitch app? if so, go to create a new or modify one and press "Get more content" then type in the search for "Tinkers"
Now just cause I try to be nice, I'll list but 1.7.9, do you mean 1.7.10? I don't even see TiC for 1.7.9... but for 1.7.10 there are...
Tinkers Construct (TiC)
Iguana's Tinker Tweaks
Thermal Tinkering
Tinker I/O
Tinker's Middleearth (Author didn't know that's hyphenated)
Tinkered Constructor
Tinkers' Compendium (Tinkers' Defense)
Tinkers' Golems Addon
Tinkers' Modifiers
Tinkers' Steelworks (fork)
Tinkers' in the Sky
PlusTiC
There may be 1 or 2 more but I cannot confirm they have anything to actually do with TiC
I do know the best compliment is the leveling one...

Tinkers' Construct does not add Ore Blocks or ore generation for Alumium, Copper and Tin anymore, however these metals are still supported in the current version(s) of the mod.
If you add another mod that adds Copper, Tin and/or Aluminium, like IndustrialCraft, Thermal Foundation or Immersive Engineering, some alloys like bronze and Alumnium Brass are supported by default.
Since Tinkers' Construct is such a popular mod (it is among the top 20 most popular mods on CurseForge) there are a lot of other mods that add support for their own metals and alloys as well.
Examples of these are basically too many to count.
Take any random somewhat popular tech mod that adds ores and the chance that it doesn't integrate with Tinkers' in some way shape or form is virtually non-existent.

So i personally love this Mod and want to play it on a new server i'm in.
However it's a 1.15.2 server.
will the latest version of the mod still work in the latest edition or is an appropriate update being worked on for 1.15.2?
I don't think so, as far as I can tell, the mod is going to be for 1.15.2 (source is Direwolf20's Forgecraft series on twitch) but doesn't have any smeltery blocks implemented yet...
